I didn't make it all the way down to Cape May or Wildwood but I did hear great things about those Jersey Shore towns. From my experience it would seem to make sense to make your Jersey Shore basecamp in Ocean City or Point Pleasant area. This is a Jersey Shore town ranking where you decide based on what you see. If you are looking for a Jersey Shore vacation this travel guide should be able to assist you along the way. Jersey Shore Trip Advisor will tell you Wildwood and or Cape May. Which would also indicate that Ocean City would be a good area to be centrally located.

Belmar Beach New Jersey | Travel | Trip | 2021 | Full Video
Belmar Beach Is located In the State of New Jersey . Belmar Beach is a beach featuring a long boardwalk, surfing & other activities. Beach badges are required between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm on the weekdays, and between 9 am to 6pm on the weekends. Lifeguards are on duty between the hours of 9 am and 5:30 pm on the weekdays, and between the 9 am and 7 pm on the weekends.
Belmar Beach and Boardwalk are wonderful and had a great week there. Temporary shops and restrooms along the boardwalk and plenty of restaurants just across Ocean Avenue. One of the nicest beaches in the US. Plenty of lifeguards, water was mid-60's and plenty of fun waves.
The fee for daily badges is $9 per day (children 15 and under are free). Seasonal badges are available for $70 and $30 for senior citizens, aged 65 and over with identification verifying age, and for disabled individuals.
