We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Hello and welcome to our channel! We are Alex & Emma, a British couple who have been exploring the world together for over 10 years - from backpacking to vanlife:
2012/13: We both embarked on our own solo backpacking trips through Southeast Asia, where we would eventually meet at a hostel in the mountains of Thailand and begin traveling together. After a year and a half of backpacking around Southeast Asia & Australia, we returned home and to the corporate world!
2015: Travel Beans was born and we filmed our first videos on a road trip around Europe with friends! This was our biggest trip yet.. and you can go back and watch the entire adventure because we filmed ALL of it! This trip took us through Russia, Mongolia & China, on the longest railway journey in the world. Followed by highlights such as staying on a local island in the Maldives for a month, going on safari in Sri Lanka, couchsurfing & hitchhiking in Korea, seeing the snow monkeys in Japan, island hopping in the Philippines, trekking 60km through the centre of Myanmar, exploring the Indian Himalayas, and checking out some of the incredible US National Parks.
2016: Despite an unbelievably memorable year and a half of travels, which we were incredibly grateful to have had the privilege to experience.. we found ourselves in New York City, battling depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head-on.
2017: After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle. We left the UK with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a continuous travel lifestyle happen! We both got online English teaching jobs to be able to fund our travels and to keep creating videos. We can't quite believe that our younger selves decided to take this plunge but we are so grateful they did as we are still on this journey today!
What now?
Over the years, we've discovered that we LOVE road trips and even decided to renovate our very own little VWT4 van into a campervan to be able to enjoy vanlife and spend more time on the road. We are now the proud owners of 2 awesome little campers - one based in the UK and one that we keep in the USA. You'll often find us using one of these vans to explore Europe and North America. If you enjoy this kind of content we'd recommend checking out our Italy Road Trip series, USA vanlife series and our Japan in a Tiny Van series as well as our UK vanlife content.
Our time spent overcoming depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. What Every Country in Europe Is WORST AT!
There are some things that some countries do better than others and there are things they do worse. Here is what every country in Europe does WORSE!
Albania
Albania has the lowest amount of doctors per person and yet it is the most likely to experience a natural disaster.
Andorra
Andorra has the worst smoking problem, probably because tobacco there, is very cheap, but don't think about getting some duty-free though because Andorra doesn't have an airport.
Armenia
Armenia is the most militarized country in Europe and the weakest Passport, only 20 countries in the whole world will accept an Armenian Passport without a Visa.
Austria
Austria has the highest percentage of youth smokers in Europe, 30% of 15-24 years old smoke on a regular basis.
Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan has the lowest rate of vehicle ownership, the worst freedom of the press, and apparently, it's the worst place to be gay in Europe.
Belarus
Belarus has the highest level of modern slavery, it's the least democratic country in Europe and it's the only country in Europe that still has the death penalty so it's no surprise that it's the largest consumer of hard liquor, at 31 pints per person per year
Belgium
Belgium is the worst place to drive in Europe because it has the two most traffic-congested cities, Brussels and Antwerp. Don't think about getting a train instead though because it has one of the least reliable railway systems too.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Not only do they have the worst air quality in Europe but they also have the worst landmine problem, 2.2% of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an active minefield.
Bulgaria
Bulgaria is the poorest country in Europe and probably because of this it also has the worst population decrease in Europe too. Since 1990 it has dropped 23% and is forecast to have dropped a total of 50% by 2050.
Croatia
Croatia has the least participation in the University exchange program Erasmus and also the lowest volume of railway passengers, maybe they just don't like to travel.
Cyprus
Cyprus has the fewest number of 18-year-olds still in the education system in Europe and also the slowest average internet speeds.
Czechia
Czechia has the highest beer consumption per person in Europe, 262 pints a year, that's 5 pints a week!
Denmark
Denmark is the worst country in Europe for making friends, it is also the country with the fewest Zara clothes stores per person. So it seems that cheap Spanish clothes make you friendlier!
Estonia
Estonia is the least religious country in the world! 84% of its population think religion is not important.
Finland.
Finland is the country with the biggest depression problem in Europe and according to the World Happiness Report, it's the happiest country in the world. It seems the report measures the things a country has that should make you happy and not the emotional state of its population.
France
France has the largest amount of active land dispute issues in Europe, it also has the lowest English language proficiency, so maybe all the disputes are just misunderstandings!
Georgia
Georgia has the worst level of income inequality and the largest number of breakaway state in any European country
Germany
Germany has the worst homeless problem in Europe it also has the lowest homeownership rate with most Germans preferring to rent their accommodation in Germany and buy their holiday home in Spain.
Greece
Greece has the highest amount of foreign debt in Europe, 130% of its GDP! it also has the highest ratio of body hair per square inch of skin!..... just kidding!
Hungary
Hungary has the highest sales tax or VAT, Value Added Tax anywhere in Europe at 27%
Iceland
Iceland gets the least amount of sunshine of any country in Europe and possibly because of this it is also the highest consumer of cannabis.
Ireland
Ireland has the highest rate of cancer in Europe and the Highest rate of Cystic Fibrosis in the World.
Italy
Italy has the highest Tax evasion rate in Europe, an estimated $239 billion per year! that's a lot of Pasta!
Kosovo
Kosovo has the highest unemployment rate for any country in Europe, that is if you consider it a country because Kosovo is also the least recognized country in Europe with many neighboring countries refusing to recognize its independence.

Summer is finally here! It's been a long year, it's about time that we take a break from the craziness that's been the last year. And seeing as most of us were locked down last summer because of the pandemic, this summer season is sure to be pretty eventful. So bust out your swimsuits and put on some sunscreen because Summer 2021 is looking like it's going to be one for the history books.
With the kids being out of school, summer is not surprisingly one of the most popular times of the year to travel. What better season could there be to go hiking or visit breathtaking natural wonders of the world than summertime?
Well, for one thing, the climate of some regions of the world can be downright dreadful in these hot, humid months. With temperatures far exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit, some destinations can be downright hazardous to your health. Then theirs the humidity. When you couple high heat with moist air, you end up feeling like you're trapped in a sauna.
There's also the fact that some travel destinations are just so overrun with rude, obnoxious, and entitled tourists that they become almost impossible for travelers to really appreciate what they have to offer. While some of these destinations are phenomenal vacation destinations other times of the year, you should think twice before booking a trip to any of these places in the summer.
