The St. Regis Langkawi
Shariff and I travel with a balance of “boujee” and “budgeting”, and this is by far the MOST luxurious experience we have had at a hotel. The room itself was dazzling and exactly the peaceful environment we needed. There was so much to explore just within the property of the St. Regis. Such beautiful areas for us to relax and also take pictures and record content to share with our friends and family back home.
The St. Regis Langkawi is the honeymoon experience we did not get to experience for our actual honeymoon (Aruba was still a blast).
Some of the highlights of our stay:
????The butler service was so kind and professional.
????The concierge was so helpful and patient. They called around to multiple locations and made our bookings for both the jet ski island hopping tour, as well as our private couples massages in the city.
????The pianist during the afternoon tea experience took my breath - I was absolutely dazzled by such a beautiful moment, it really set an amazing atmosphere.
????The live music in the evening at the St. Regis Bar was SUCH a vibe - the singing duo was so fun and we had such a great time singing along with them. It set the tone for a calm and romantic mood for the evening.
????SOOO many areas to take beautifully aesthetic photos and videos! We couldn’t even get to all of them.
????The breakfast had so many amazing selections!
????OMG you HAVE to try the Lychee Iced Tea!! Shariff and I easily had 4-5 of those every day! We couldn’t be stopped!
Staying at the St. Regis Langkawi was one of our highlights in Langkawi, we would GREATLY recommend staying here if you get the chance.

The St Regis Langkawi is a luxurious beachfront resort on Langkawi island, Malaysia. Guests staying at this property have access to a private beach. During our visit, we were appointed their St Regis suite, which was a spacious room and had partial views of the beach and pool. Their boozy breakfast was terrific, with a good variety of food available.

How to Stay In Westin and Enjoy Facilities in St Regis Langkawi?
St Regis Langkawi's room rate is almost 3x more than Westin Langkawi.
We initially booked St Regis but after reviewing another 5 stars hotel's room photos, the room is bigger and nicer than St. Regis, but the price difference is very minor, hence we decided to cancel the St. Regis' Booking and changed it to the new booking.
FYI, St Regis and Westin are sharing the same beach, they are connected and can be accessible by just walking (around 10 mins walking). Luckily we changed to another resort so that we can experience different sides of the beach.
Don't get me wrong, St Regis is also a very nice hotel, just that we prefer to visit different side of beach and a bigger room.
Stay tuned for the next video. The BEST resort that I have ever stayed!

Hotel Review - The St. Regis Langkawi - St Regis Pool Suite - Aug 2020
Langkawi Island isn't usually our go to destination in Malaysia. But since there isn't much choice to travel except for domestic destination, so we decided to give it a go.
There are only 4 Marriott branded properties on the island. This is the first of 3 we are doing for this trip. The last time we were at the St. Regis Langkawi, it was just a couple of months after they open their doors. So it has been a while since we actually stayed here.
To our surprise, occupancy during our trip was very high. A few factors to take into consideration. Langkawi Island depended a lot on foreign tourist. As borders are still closed today, a significant drop on the average rates. Which we think it is perfect for locals to steal a good deal. As far as pricing, Langkawi saw the most significant reduction on their rates in the country. It would be the perfect timing to explore the island.
To give a summary of the experience, the service is quite amazing compared to the last time we were here. Great elite recognition, the on property staffs and management team is on point. Butlers team improved significantly. A lot of times they have gone above and beyond. There are still a lot of familiar faces around that made our stay even sweeter. We had stayed in during our trip, the staffs on the F&B team were on point. But we do kinda realize that the taste of the food (I know this is a very subjective point of view) wasn't as good as it use to be. But it made up with the whole experience. The hard product of the suites and amenities in the resort are still good. Doesn't show any signs of aging just yet. It is kinda a replica of the St. Regis Bali. However for travelers that have been to St. Regis Bali, I believe we can say that no other property can actually challenge them in every aspects besides the Maldives. So it wouldn't be a fair review if we put them side by side as a comparison. It is still a beautiful property, however I do wish for more of their own identity.
A special shout out to the marcom team! Do say hi to Shin if you all are heading that way. She is beyond amazing. We officially dubbed her as the magic maker of the resort.
Do keep in mind that are two teams in place for the property. The off site team and the on site team. If y'all thinking of getting in touch with the property before the stay (which we all do), my advise from our experience is DON'T. The on site team would be well prepared. This is a St. Regis brand that is for sure. Expectations are definitely high up there. I was prepared to have a disastrous stay before arriving due to that. But once we were there, I have to say that the on site team are there to take things to the next level. I don't know, it feels like the offsite team weren't as open for a simple conversation. It kinda would dampen your excitement. But one thing for sure is the on site team is one stellar team ready to make your stay a wonderful one.
On the whole experience here, we would rate this property a 7.8/10. There are still a whole lot more they could do to be on the top. A beautiful property that is for sure without a doubt.
