Shot in Mumbai, this auntie and her entire family work the streets every day running this scam. During the scam, an Indian Nun came up to me to help me and stop me being scammed! She was terrific and demonstrates the lengths Indians will go to to help foreign guests in their country. This Nun actually knew the family and told me this women's daughters are being educated by her at a Christian missionary charity called Prem Dan.

Exposing India's Begging Scams (Beware!)
Have you come across these begging scams? Not all beggars are genuine; I expose 3 fake beggars in this video so you know what to avoid when you travel to India. The most common begging scams I've come across are the Ranipur calamity fake charity scam, fake medical bills scam, and fake donation collectors.
These scams can happen anywhere in India. Begging scammers commonly target tourist areas, busy intersections, expensive parts of cities, and railway stations. If you meet any of them, just say no and keep walking. Don't fall for their lies. These are professional beggars who are trying to trick you into donating money to a fake cause.
If you want to give to beggars, you need to verify their story. If approached by a beggar who claims to be in a dire situation, exercise caution. Ask questions and evaluate their responses. Genuine individuals in need might provide coherent and consistent explanations.
Trust your instincts too. If something feels suspicious or doesn't seem right, trust your gut instinct. It's better to err on the side of caution and refrain from engaging with potential scammers.
Spread awareness: Share information about begging scams with friends, family, and your community. Increasing awareness about these scams can help protect others from falling prey to fraudulent schemes.

The WORST Tourist Trap in India
This restaurant and souvenir shop on India's famous Golden Triangle route is the worst tourist trap I've ever come across! The souvenirs are massively marked up, their cruddy restaurant charges 5-star prices, and they're busy breaking the law by rubbing out the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) on their snacks too.
This video will also help you learn the basic prices for souvenirs in India. Always buy them from a market rather than greedy stores like these. Even your hotel's souvenir store will be a better option.

Scammers CAUGHT ME Filming in India ????
When I started exposing scammers in India, I knew I had to be careful. My YouTube channel got so big that the scammers now recognise me. Scammers caught me while was trying to film a fake official tourist centre scam in New Delhi. Watch me run! ????
This wasn't the first time I've been recognised by an Indian scammer. The first time was on Barakhamba Road in New Delhi. A scammer walked past me and started yelling Police! Police! Police! at me. He was teasing me because he's seen my videos. That's the point where I knew I had to be far more careful.

Avoid These Guys in India 2 (Don't Be Scammed by Travel Agents in India!)
Avoid these Indian scammers at all costs! These travel agents you'll meet on the streets of India will lie to you, overcharge you, promise the world and deliver very little - if anything. They'll scam you out of your money! The list of online complaints against Indian travel agents goes on and on. And if you complain, they'll yell at you, and it's already too late because there's no such thing as refunds in India.
Just look at this scammer's store's name, Department of Tourism. He's trying to trick foreigners into thinking that he's affiliated with the Government of India. But the truth is the Government of India's Tourism Office near Connaught Place only offers FREE ADVICE. The Real IndiaTourism office is or search IndiaTourism DELHI on Google Maps.
To book travel in India, please use popular online travel portals or reputable travel agents which you have researched and read reviews about online. Never trust anyone on the street in India - especially if the conversation turns to money and how they can help you. New Delhi is littered with hustlers who'll take you to whatever travel agent will pay them the most commission - not the best travel agency who'll provide you with a pleasant experience.
Fake train and flight tickets are prevalent here in India too. Because of the way Connaught Place is designed, in a HUGE circle, you're unlikely even to remember where the travel agency that sold you the fake tickets is located. It's a very disorientating place. Plus there's no such thing as a refund in India and these travel agents are dangerous goons.

Pakistani Police Bust Me... Eating Fish! (A Warning for Tourists)
Can't a man just vlog and eat fish in peace in Pakistan? While eating in the Sikh holy city of Nankana Sahib, an unidentified security service agent finds me in a restaurant and reports me to the local Police station. Then a Punjab police officer sits next to me and forces me to ride back to my hotel with him.
According to that Punjab police officer, the protection of foreign tourists is their responsibility. However, I don't think there's any rule like that in Nankana Sahib. The only places that require you to travel with a security guard in Pakistan are, as far as I know, southern Punjab (below Multan) and Balochistan.

Scam Shops in Pakistan & India - Don't Be Fooled!
While travelling in India & Pakistan you'll find shops that have straight-up copied a famous shop's name, and then, opened their store next-door to the original!
In this video, you'll see the original Grato Jalebi sweet store in Rawalpindi and there's a big queue because locals know it's legit. But just a few metres down the road are 3 copies with the same name.
Karim's in Delhi also has the same problem. There are many counterfeit Karim's restaurants.
These fake shops make enough money to stay open by simply fooling travellers.

I CAUGHT Scammers Preying on Tourists in Dubai! (Herbal Hair Loss Scam)
There's a lot of street scammers in Dubai, especially in the touristy Bur Dubai and Souk areas! They approach you on the street and promise to cure your hair loss or weight issues, but it's all a scam.
They take you on a shopping tour of multiple stores. The first store is legitimate and you buy a cheap item. Then they take you to 1 or 2 other stores where they, and the store owner, try to sell you grossly overpriced spices for the hair loss formula. They'll try to charge you up to 3000 Dirhams ($800) for their magic cure. Many tourists pay these crazy amounts just to get out of the store.
If you want some real herbal ayurvedic hair loss advice, see Try Ayurveda for hair loss You can find many such formulas online and make them yourself, or buy readymade from an Indian store.
This miracle cure scam and many others are all across Meena Bazaar. There are people selling fake watches, overpriced dates, low-quality Indian clothing, and counterfeit sunglasses that they will tell you are real. Meena Bazaar, Bur Dubai, Deira, Gold Souk, Grand Souk, Spice Souk, and Utensil Souk are a hub for scammers. Do not trust anyone on the street in Dubai! Shop at reputable stores and not back alley stores.
A man who works at a shop in Mina Bazaar said he has seen the touts approaching potential victims. “It’s disgraceful how these hawks prey on people’s insecurities. They are master manipulators. It’s a con ring involving the people on street. If I hear people asking for these shops, I warn them it’s a scam,” the man added.
“The shops have legitimate businesses licences and products. But they also sell dud stuff that doesn’t work,” he added. - Victims warn of hair-loss ‘cures’ offered by street touts
Gulf News spoke to Dubai Police about the issue and they said that if a customer feels he or she is annoyed or harassed by the shopkeepers then they can call the police command room on 901 or go to the nearest police station to register a complaint.

This salesman invited me into his shop in Jaipur, India, on the premise that I could get a hoodie for under 1,000 rupees. He then showed me hoodies that he said cost 2,500 rupees.
It was only later when I was able to get other locals there to translate, that I realised their real price was 600 rupees and he also talked bad about my mother.
Avoid this salesman if you see him at Bapu Bazar, otherwise be prepared to be ripped off and insulted by him.

Avoid this tourist SCAM in Colombo, Sri Lanka. ????????
When travelling in Sri Lanka as a foreigner you'll no doubt be approached by men who try to appear as friendly citizens. They will attempt to coax you to somewhere, such as a beautiful temple that you must go and see. Watch as this man follows me through the streets, desperately trying to convince me to go see the (fake) Tsunami Temple, despite me showing zero interest in it.
These scammers and their cheap tricks are not representative of the genuine good people of Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, as foreigner, they will be seeking you out so it would be easy to think that every local is bad when in fact it's a very small number of bad people.

The DIRTIEST Scam in India: Inside a New Delhi Hotel
Hey Guys
So this video so far is the odd one out for me as it wasn't a good experience and having watched the footage back it seemed like a whole bunch of negative BUT I thought hey, if this can be of benefit to anyone to create awareness of a situation then I should upload it!
I certainly wasn't aggressive in my response but more so not taking the BS from them and standing firm for getting what was owed! And to be fair they had messed me around enough after a very long journey and I had to sleep in a dirty used bed, so all said and done I wasn't re dressing the balance here but demanding my money be returned as I was leaving this filth ridden hotel!
But life is a lesson and my lesson was learnt!
NOW I travel to a place and ensure that I arrive early, book nothing online as it's literally a lucky dip situation AND can then check out an area for a hotel, not to near a mosque or a temple to avoid the 4am wake up calls and try to be off a main street to avoid that noise also.
