Boston College Campus Tour + Incredible Rainbow

In this video, I walked around the campus of Boston College. Honestly, I had a lot of mixed feelings after going into this video. First of all the campus is very pretty and has a lot to offer; however, at the time I wast there, the campus was very dirty. It looks like there may have been so big event right after I arrived. It also may have been parent weekend because there were a ton of parents with students. Lastly, there were a lot of hecklers throughout this video. Overall a great walk though, and it was a good insight for me on what Boston College is all about. Also, ENJOY THE RAINBOW. It's probably the best one I've ever seen in my life!

9 Minute Harvard by Air in 4K

This is a 9 minute drone footage in 4K for the introduction to Math 21a Summer school at Harvard. As you guys still can not take the course on campus, why not look at Harvard by air? The footage was taken on June 19. It was a partly cloudy day but we were lucky. We flew the camera for almost an hour and cut things down to 9 minutes to fit the overture of Beethoven (opus 84). The video will also be used for the first data project. How can one determine the position or height of the drone at some point? How can one determine the velocity of the drone at some time? The background music is the Egmont Overture of Beethoven which is royalty free by Kevin Mc Leod.

Walking From Northeastern University to MIT

Today, September 2nd 2021, I walked from Northeastern University to Massachusetts Institute of Technology also much commonly referred to as MIT. I took Huntington Ave till Mass Ave, and on Mass Ave I walked over the Charles River. After arriving in Cambridge I took a right off the bridge onto Memorial Drive, and the school was to my left. Great walking route! Below is a description taken from wikipedia about each of these schools.

Northeastern:
Northeastern University (NU or NEU) is a private research university with its main campus in Boston. Established in 1898, the university offers undergraduate and graduate programs on its main campus in Boston as well as satellite campuses in Charlotte, North Carolina; Seattle, Washington; San Jose, California; San Francisco, California; Portland, Maine; and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada. In 2019, Northeastern purchased the New College of the Humanities in London, England. The university's enrollment is approximately 19,000 undergraduate students and 8,600 graduate students.[5] It is classified among R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity.[6] Undergraduate admission to the university is categorized as most selective.[7]

Northeastern features a cooperative education program, more commonly known as co-op, that integrates classroom study with professional experience and includes over 3,100 partners across all seven continents.[8] The program has been a key part of Northeastern's curriculum of experiential learning for more than a hundred years and is one of the largest co-op/internship programs in the world. While not required for all academic disciplines, participation is nearly universal among undergraduate students.[9] Northeastern also has a comprehensive study abroad program that spans more than 170 universities and colleges.[10]

Northeastern is a large, highly residential university. Most undergraduate students choose to live on campus but third-years and above have the option to live off campus. Seventy-eight percent of Northeastern students receive some form of financial aid. In the 2020–21 school year, the university has committed $355 million in grant and scholarship assistance.[11] In 2019, Northeastern's six-year graduation rate was 89 percent.

MIT:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is a private land-grant research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Established in 1861, MIT has since played a key role in the development of modern technology and science, ranking it among the most prestigious academic institutions in the world.[10][11][12][13]

Founded in response to the increasing industrialization of the United States, MIT adopted a European polytechnic university model and stressed laboratory instruction in applied science and engineering. The institute has an urban campus that extends more than a mile (1.6 km) alongside the Charles River, and encompasses a number of major off-campus facilities such as the MIT Lincoln Laboratory, the Bates Center, and the Haystack Observatory, as well as affiliated laboratories such as the Broad and Whitehead Institutes.

As of June 2021, 97 Nobel laureates, 26 Turing Award winners, and 8 Fields Medalists have been affiliated with MIT as alumni, faculty members, or researchers.[14] In addition, 58 National Medal of Science recipients, 29 National Medals of Technology and Innovation recipients, 50 MacArthur Fellows,[15] 80 Marshall Scholars,[16] 3 Mitchell Scholars,[17] 22 Schwarzman Scholars,[18] 9 Knight-Hennessy Scholars, [19] 41 astronauts,[20] and 16 Chief Scientists of the U.S. Air Force have been affiliated with MIT. The university also has a strong entrepreneurial culture and MIT alumni have founded or co-founded many notable companies.[21][22] MIT is a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU).[23]
