Motorcycle phone mounts & vibration dampeners test. Can they destroy your phone?
Do you really need a vibration damper for your phone mount? I will test it and tell you that. This video is a big test and review of motorcycle/bike mobile (cell) phone mounts and vibration dampeners, featuring both expensive and reasonably priced options like Chinese cheap locks and also top brands such as SP Connect, Quad Lock, Peak Design, and less known but brilliant Sincetop.
In addition to testing the phone mounts, this video also includes a very non-scientific but realistic examination of vibration dampeners. I will try to demonstrate how well each dampener performs in reducing vibrations and compare the effectiveness of different designs and brands. I will also answer the question if the vibration dampeners help or not really.
I will also talk about dedicated phone cases and universal adapters for each product. I will evaluate the ease of use, security and stability of these different options and compare the pros and cons of each.
The video aims to give you an in-depth look at the strengths and weaknesses of each product, helping to make an informed decision when purchasing a phone mount or vibration dampener for your motorcycle. So if you look for the answer to what is better: quad lock vs sp connect, or quad lock vs peak design, sp connect vs quad lock or any other cheap lock - I will try to help you with that.

quick but of product information;
• Made from Tough ABS plastic
• Waterproof - correct rating….IPX5, which means it can sustain a constant low-pressure water jet. You cant go swimming with it though but whatever the weather will throw at you, you’ll be protected.
• Shock-absorbing silicone, so the inner of the case is silicone, designed to protect the phone and reduce the vibrations to the phone itself.
• Ultimateaddons have there own charging cables to fit the case snug so it still retains its IPX5 rating.
• the two big clips we call ‘Locking Clips’ and the 3 little ones on the outer edges of the case are called ‘ pressure clips’
and as for mounts, they can do pretty much everything to cover all bikes :)
