Mystical drive to the town of Vardø, Norway's Ultima Thule
I decided to take a very long dead-end road in northeastern Norway, all the way along the southern edge of the Varanger Peninsula to the town of Vardø. It's the only town in mainland Norway with an actual polar climate. The drive goes along the magical E75, a highway that leads right along the fjord's edge. I stopped in the town of Vadsø and managed to gain access to the church and look around, all by myself. I also stumbled upon what looked like a couple reindeer carcasses along a beach, which I have no explanation for. Unsettling, and like being in some supernatural world beyond the Vikings, somehow.
Later I managed to find a clean and lovely beach to touch the arctic Barents Sea waters of the Varanger Fjord, and then made it to a sign welcoming me to Ultima Thule ... the end of the world, Vardø, Norway!

USAF Clark hospital is a place you need to not come to alone because of the spirits and the building is falling apart after almost 30 years of being abandoned. The microphone picked up interesting tapping in certain areas of the basement. It was the most intense supernatural experience of my 8 years of traveling the world. I will be back at night time to see if we can see more supernatural things happening.

The best way to discover a place is to get lost and explore the side streets while meeting locals. My passion for travel started when I was 22. I got a chance to visit my cousin in Beijing and found that it was so exciting to see a new culture. Trying all the different varieties of Chinese foods was also a big selling point. Once I started I could not stop. I wanted to figure out how to make my life more adventurous and break out of my normal lifestyle. I speak Chinese fluently and speak Thai, Japanese, and Spanish on a basic level. I love different cultures from around the world. Traveling is not easy but what you get from it is a new understanding of every place you go.
