BATWING POV - Six Flags America Roller Coaster
Batwing is a lay-down/ flying roller coaster located at Six Flags America, Maryland, USA. 4K POV, 60fps, Front Row on-ride. This great creation made by Vekoma is able to have riders laying on their back, or riding on their stomaches. It's one of the few rides where riders can take inversions on either side because of the position. The attraction is located in the back corner of the park, and is a clone known as the Flying Dutchman. A model used to be found at Kings Island, Firehawk, in Mason Ohio, but it was removed in 2018. #RollerCoaster #SixFlags #ThemePark
Carowinds also has a similar model, without a helix at the end. The Six Flags America model is considered to be the best of the remaining Vekoma Flyers, with a widely regarded smoother ride and better experience than its counterpart.

It features a 140-foot tall inverted loop, water features, and a double elevator-style scary lift system. Riders travel at a max of 70mph. Enthusiasts travel from all around the World to this widely-unknown theme park in Utah to ride what is considered one of the most unique roller coasters. Located mountainside, this beautiful park is one of the most pictures locations for a theme park or amusement park ever built. Lagoon in Farmington, Utah, USA built this ride in-house with help from Intamin. We almost forgot to mention the insane beyond-vertical drop, 116 degrees!

Once riders take their seats and fasten the headsets, they will be fully immersed in the 360-degree comic-book world of Metropolis. Just after departing the station, riders encounter Lex Luthor who uses an anti-gravity gun along with his army of Lexbots to create chaos throughout the city with cars, taxis and buses floating in mid-air around the rider’s vehicle. As the Lexbots continue shooting at the vehicle, SUPERMAN uses heat vision to destroy the anti-gravity gun, causing all objects to suddenly fall, including the train as it takes the first giant drop of the roller coaster. Riders then soar alongside SUPERMAN as he battles the evil Lexbots through hairpin twists and turns, dips and dives before ultimately defeating Lex and the Lexbots, and returning safely back into the station.
In partnership with Samsung Gear VR and Oculus, SUPERMAN The Ride will be equipped with wireless headsets that, while wearing, allow you enter a virtual world with high-resolution imagery and 360-degree views that synchronize to the action of the coaster.

The coaster stands 168 feet (51 m) tall, with its lift hill and helical drop extending over a bordering cliff. It also features the largest 360-degree vertical loop in the world at 145 ft. It has a track length of 4,025 feet (1,227 m) and top speed of 70 mph—the fastest of any B&M floorless coaster, as well as the fastest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It has six inversions, although initial plans had called for a total of eight (similar to PortAventura's Dragon Khan in Spain). Superman: Krypton Coaster is the largest floorless roller coaster in the Southwestern United States.
On March 6, 2010 Fiesta Texas hosted the 10th anniversary for Superman: Krypton Coaster.
