For 16 days I travelled with my wife around the South Island of New Zealand spending my days filming the beautiful island. We traveled in the Summer time. I drove 3987km's and captured 1337gb of film, I scaled the edges of mountains, hiked through valleys and enjoyed everything Mother Nature had to offer. This is my South Island adventure. this is not a full detailed travel guide. The Timeless Beauty Of New Zealand's South Island | Somewhere On Earth
The beautiful country of New Zealand is full of vegetation and wildlife. The South Island is larger and less populated and its here that we find Peter, a former farmer who is now a painter, traveling the country to capture its light and impressions. Dave spends his time in the riverbeds of the Hokitika region, searching for jade stones. And finally we meet Forhana, who lives on the very small Stewart Island.
