Sudan - Port Sudan New Year's Eve
New year's eve in Port Sudan is a peaceful, lively get together of young and old at the corniche. The local music performances one can attend for a small fee get a big audience. It is great to see all people walking and sitting outside in the time of the year with the best temperature.

Interestingly , the old man seen on the thumbnail, speaks few Greek words between 2:04 and 2:45 ( kalo psari meaning good fish) , kmowledge he almost definitely aquired from the affluent Greek community that used to live in Port Sudan and is now extinct.
