Grenada, St George's Port and beautiful harbour. Jean reports for Doris Visits.
Best WiFi was in the chocolate museum and cafe! Grenada is just 68 miles from St Vincent, and these islands are so close they often play together on many a cruise. Grenada deserves to be in the team. St George's is the charming capital with a population of around 30,000. CRUISE: TORTILLA BVI. Road Town Walking Guide. Jean's film for Doris Visits
Road Town is quite small with not a lot to do, but there are a few places you should try and see if staying near port. The Folk Museum, or slavery museum is one of them. Many will take off to beaches or a bus tour.

Getting to the best beach easily and cheaply and back to the ship on time is what every Caribbean Cruiser considers at some point. Here is an answer to Grenada. By bus and we got to stay there longer than those who went by taxi and were hassled to go home at lunchtime.

Antigua Tour, just what is there on Antigua
The normal #Antigua tour from local taxi's is the Cricket stadium (outside), then to the derelict and closed sugar refinery (outside as it is derelict), then a distant view of Nelson's Dockyard unless you stipulate you wish to visit, and maybe a beach. See the film.
We have a other films, how to get to Nelson's Dockyard for £2US and then walk to the beach, or Jolly Harbour by public bus. It is easy and you are unlikely to be the only one on the bus from your ship. #Nelsonsdockyard #cruisetip

Doris Visits Sint Maarten in the Caribbean (French & Dutch sides)

Where to cruise can be a big question for an experienced cruiser, just as it can be a puzzle for someone trying to take their first cruise.
When in a conversation about cruise ports, it can turn into an enjoyable ambition. It certainly inspired us to make a compilation video. However, we have filmed so many ports it will take more than one ten-minute film to even touch the possibilities.

Tortola, BVI. The Island Bus tour. Jean films the tour for Doris Visits
Tortilla island bus tour. Tortola has a great bus loop up from the main town and port, into the mountains and across the island, coming down back into the town on the other side. That forms the tour, given by all the buses whose drivers where government uniform shirts. Some, like Kitty have a great sense of humour which makes her sought after.
The buses wait in the car parks by and beyond the port. We have a separate film on the Botanical Gardens which are a good walk from the ship.
