7 Days In SLOVENIA ???????? | Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, Bovec & Soča Valley
I spent 7 days travelling round one of Europe's best kept secrets, the gorgeous country of Slovenia.
Starting in the picturesque capital of Ljubljana, I then made my way round to Lake Bohinj, where I took the cable car up to Mt Vogel.
I went white water rafting near Bled before swimming in the crystal clear waters of Lake Bled itself.
Then I travelled round to the Soča Valley and stayed in Bovec where I went canyoning, zip-lining and took the cable car up to Mt Kanin.

7 Days in Slovenia: A traveler's guide to the beautiful nation
Welcome to Slovenia. This small country (the size of New Jersey) sits between Italy, Austria, and Croatia, and as you’ll see, is one of Europe’s raddest places to travel. We gave ourselves a week. Starting off in Lake Bled, we swam in one of the most postcard looking lakes you’ve ever seen before heading off to sail in the Adriatic. From here we explored the Soča Valley — a region with turquoise blue rivers and limitless adventure options. Farm to table food and family-run wineries are a way of life in Slovenia, and we were stoked to spend time with world famous chef Ana RoŠ from HiŠa Franko restaurant as well as Aleš Kristančič, the storied winemaker of Movia vineyards. Don’t overlook this country when thinking of your next travels to Europe.

We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia on end of September 2021.
Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative centre of the country. During antiquity, a Roman city called Emona stood in the area. Ljubljana itself was first mentioned in the first half of the 12th century.
It was under Habsburg rule from the Middle Ages until the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918. After World War II, Ljubljana became the capital of the Socialist Republic of Slovenia, part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It retained this status until Slovenia became independent in 1991 and Ljubljana became the capital of the newly formed state.
Our guided walking tour is about 3.72 miles (6 km) long, starts at Dragon Bridge and covers most attractions and historic sites of Ljubljana.

Craziest Waterfall Hike in Triglav National Park SLOVENIA
After finding the quite well hidden start of the 4 waterfall hike through Kosec Gorge in Triglav National Park, Slovenia we were feeling pretty good about life. It's fair to say we weren't expecting the day we ended up having! This was the craziest waterfall hike we've ever done and if there's anything to learn it's that you should never go anywhere without sandwiches!
This was our second time in Slovenia and the 3rd country on our epic 52 day road trip round the Alps. If you love finding waterfalls or just like the idea of a bit of breathatking Alpine scenery from the comfort of your sofa, you've found the right channel to subscribe to.
