The two seas that never mix, Grenen, Skagen Top of Denmark
Skagen is a port town at the north end of Denmark’s Jutland peninsula. Near the marina, the Skagens Museum exhibits works by the Skagen Painters, who were inspired by the area's light and landscape. The Local History Archive, in the former courthouse, illustrates the town’s history and maritime heritage. On Skagen’s northeastern outskirts, Grenen Beach is at the convergence of the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas.
Grenen is a long sandbar spit at Skagen Odde, north of the town of Skagen.

Northernmost Tip of Denmark - Grenen in Skagen Where Skagerrak and Kattegat Meet
The other day i went over to Denmark to dwell a bit on its northernmost tip. It’s called Grenen and is just a walking distance north of Skagen. It was an off-season day for the site with usually attracts tourists. No wonder because two seas meet there, Skagerrak and Kattegat. Otherwise most of the day was spent in a relaxed mood listening to audiobooks =)

An overview of our port stop in Skagen, Demark while we were onboard the Royal Caribbean ship, Brilliance of the Seas. It is a cute little town that I recommend seeing on a self guided bike tour. This video will highlight the important places to visit while biking around the northermost tip of Denmark.

See what we did in Skagen, Denmark! We were there in late July 2023 as part of a Norway/Denmark cruise on the Holland America Statendam.
See what we did from our DIY excursion/walking tour to explore this charming costal town. We also had a chance to try out some local Danish street food in the form of red hot dogs.

SKAGEN DENMARK APRIL 15-17 2019 (4K)
We went to Skagen in Denmark to celebrate anniversary and birthday.
00:07 Tram, 00:30 ferry and 00:42 train took us to Skagen and we arrived around one.
00:52 We stayed at Foldens Hotel & Café and spent most of Monday afternoon enjoying the sun, did some shopping and had a few beers.
We ended with an anniversary dinner at Skagens Fiskerestaurant.
01:32 After breakfast Tuesday morning we went for a walk to Grenen – The northern tip of Denmark.
02:50 Coming back to Skagen a refreshing beer at Skagens Fiskerestaurant tasted good. Later we had birthday dinner at Ristorante Firenze.
03:19 After breakfast Wednesday it was train back to Frederikshavn to catch the ferry to Gothenburg.

Visiting Skagen and of Denmark where the two seas meet, the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Walking at two Grenen beaches in same time it was a amazing experience, Skagen is a beautiful and peaceful town with typical Danish architecture and a harbour spirit. Skagen is a town located in Jutland, a region of Denmark, at the northernmost point. Its name originally spelled, 'Skaffuen,' meaning, “high point of land,” has always been known as a fishing town with its primary catch, herring, a favorite among Danish seafood lovers.
Visiting also Råbjerg Mile!
Huge sand dune covering 2 square km. Very beautiful view from the top but it’s a little difficult to reach up.
Exploring other city and food in north jutland Denmark. On the way back to Copenhagen we stop by Aarhus City and eat dinner at Zafran restaurant. which was very delicious.
