Top Things to Do in Sedona, AZ

Check out excursions you can do on your trip at the link below:

The moment you come to Sedona, Arizona, you will know that you’re somewhere special. From the stunning scenery, to unique landmarks and natural water adventures, Sedona has everything you could possibly ask for. Whether it’s a family vacation or an adventure holiday, you won’t be disappointed. With everything that Sedona has to offer, it can be tough to know how best to prioritize the time you have. That’s not a problem, we have put together a list of the top fourteen things to do in Sedona, Arizona.

For example, the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is not simply a tourist attraction, but a wonderful oasis of serenity. It’s certainly worth spending a few hours of your time here to truly enjoy it. Tlaquepaque has been a landmark of Sedona since the 1970s and is known as the most distinctive shopping experience in the Southwest. Strolling through this place with its cobblestone walkways, stucco walls and stunning architecture will make you feel like you’re in another country all together.

Another example on our list is one for the passionate hiker. Devil’s Bridge Trail is one of the best hikes in Sedona and Devil’s Bridge is the largest natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area. While it’s a four mile round trip hike to the natural bridge itself, it’s worth every step. The hike is very manageable for someone in decent shape. Once you approach the climb to the bridge, that’s when the real adventure begins, with some very steep stairs and a bit of a climb that’ll get you on all fours. While there aren’t any guard rails, don’t be alarmed. The surface of the bridge is large enough to feel safe. With the length of the hike and the scorching heat, remember to bring enough water.

Sit back, enjoy this video and start planning your trip of a lifetime.

How to Prepare Yourself Before Visiting Sedona, Arizona [Eng Sub] | Ilchi Lee's Sedona Life

Millions of people visit the dramatically beautiful Sedona, Arizona every year. The red rocks dotted with green trees and shrubs thrill the eye and compel all who see them to take photographs. Sedona Arizona Things to do (Part 1)

Hey you guys! Thanks for joining me on another journey. We are exploring the things to do in Sedona, Arizona this week. We decided to take our rental, a Dodge Journey, on one of the rugged roads to have our own version of a Pink Jeep Tour. While this excursion company provides visitors with an exciting experience, we are traveling on the cheap. We had a blast navigating the off-road terrain in Sedona. And though the Dodge Journey felt more like a mini-van, it handled pretty well. Next time, I will rent a Jeep Wrangler instead though. An important pro tip for you ladies out there: make sure you use the restroom before setting off on a very bumpy drive with your adventurous male friend. And try to ration your water intake, but be mindful to avoid dehydrating. All those boulders can certainly exacerbate your ever-slowly filling bladder! Guys have it so easy when it comes to something like needing to pee when out adventuring. If you do decide to a similar off-roading experience to ours, make sure you are very careful with your rented vehicle; I have a whole lot of practice in driving several kinds of vehicles in such conditions. We thoroughly enjoyed our views of Chimney Rock, Thunder Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain and Coffeepot Rock. Another travel tip I suggest is, when doing road trips, make sure to purchase the fixings for sandwiches you can make on the hood of your car--which I call hoodwiches. It'll save you a good amount of money eating lunches and/or dinners that way instead of eating every meal at a restaurant. We set off on the hiking trail for Devil's Bridge. Once it merged with the off-roading trail, we met up with a whole lot of others headed in the same direction as us. Even though it was only mid-April, it was still very warm, so don't forget to bring more water than you think you'll need. Devil's Bridge is a natural sandstone arch just outside of Sedona, Arizona. It is about a 1.8 mile hike there and another 1.8 miles back. It's a moderate-level hike, but people of all ages were on the path. It was so cool to be able to walk onto the arch! After our time at the arch, we took the trail to below. What a perspective to see where we'd just been standing! Have you heard of the vortex energy that Sedona, Arizona claims to have? For some, this energy is attractive, while others are not quite sure what to make out of it. Go check it out for yourself and let me know what you think of this mystical phenomenon. Another way we made this trip more affordable was going out to the BLM land to tent camp for free. We definitely felt more in tune with the Native American history/culture being out nature like that. And the night sky was awesome!
