The first two SeaXplorer projects sold are now under construction for delivery in 2020. The keel laying of a customised version of the SeaXplorer 75 took place in July. The yacht will be delivered to her owner in late 2020.
A True Expedition Yacht - Damen SeaXplorer
Since we launched this exciting new expedition yachting concept at the Monaco Yacht Show, we have sold two SeaXplorer yachts – a SeaXplorer 75 and a SeaXplorer 65 – which are now both under construction. Today, before the first build has even touched the water, the SeaXplorer has quickly acquired an enviable and serious reputation in the high-end yachting market.
The SeaXplorer range has grown to five designs from 55 to 100 metres in length. Behind each of these designs is Damen dedicated SeaXplorer design team, a well-established pool of naval architecture talent and shipbuilding expertise. Together with our design partners at Damen Research, our luxury yacht builder Amels, EYOS Expeditions and AZURE Yacht Design, we have the know-how and resources to meet the individual requirements of each client.

SeaXplorer 77 LA DATCHA launched at Damen Yachting
We are very proud to introduce the luxury expedition yacht LA DATCHA, which emerged from her building hall in the Netherlands this week. This highly anticipated 77-metre SeaXplorer will be delivered towards the end of this summer, in time to headline the first ever Amels and Damen Yachting Private View Event taking place in September.

SeaXplorer 60 keel laying
The Damen Yachting team celebrated the keel-laying of the SeaXplorer 60 from our luxury expedition yacht range. The Netherlands-based design team joined the Antalya production team to witness the first steps in of this very exciting project.
The SeaXplorer 60 is 60 metres in length (almost 200 ft) with exteriors by Azure Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design. For her 12 guests on board, she has impressive capability and extensive provisions so that her 17 crew (including 4 specialist staff, guides, pilots, etc) can provide full luxury service for up to 30 days without port call. As well as an Ice Class hull for global voyaging, she has hybrid power and propulsion.

We will be sharing details of recent builds including the brand new 77-metre LA DATCHA seen here completing her sea trials.

Damen SeaXplorer 77 LA DATCHA launch
On 4 June our DAMEN team celebrated the hull launch of LA DATCHA SeaXplorer following construction on the Danube river. The owner of the innovative 77-metre luxury expedition yacht (252 ft) attended the event with his family at our hull building yard Damen Shipyards Galati. This summer we will transport to the SeaXplorer outfitting yard in the Netherlands ahead of delivery in September 2020, just before the yacht’s debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.

First luxury expedition yacht Damen 62 metre SeaXplorer launched!
The first Damen SeaXplorer luxury expedition yacht emerged from the Damen Yachting building hall in Vlissingen, the Netherlands at the end of October 2019. When the 62-metre custom-designed superyacht (203 ft) is handed over to her owners in early 2020, she will be the first delivery from the Damen SeaXplorer range.
