Russian Food Party!! SMOKED BEEF BORSCHT by Russia’s Best Chef!! | White Rabbit, Moscow, Russia!

????Chef Vladimir:
????Russian Food Tour of Moscow:
????T-shirts and caps:

Thank you to Chef Vladimir ( Boris Zarkob ( and the entire White Rabbit ( team for hosting me on this amazing day of Russian food!

Breakfast at Chef Vladimir’s house - To begin this amazing day of Russian food in Moscow, we were invited over to Chef Vladimir’s (head chef of White Rabbit Moscow) for breakfast. Some of the White Rabbit family were there, and they were cooking a full Russian feast for breakfast. Along with huge amounts of Russian black caviar and baked breads, the highlight for me was without a doubt the smoked beef borscht, by far the best borscht I’ve ever had in my life. No other borscht I had throughout Russia even came close to the flavor of this. It was an amazing Russian food breakfast and time to meet new friends.

Lunch at Gorynich Restaurant, Moscow, Russia - This was completely unplanned until right before going - Chef Vladimir said I should go to Gorynich Restaurant for lunch in order to taste their Russian rye bread, which they bake fresh there. Fantastic restaurant in Moscow, and the bread blew me away, best rye bread I’ve ever had in the world.

White Rabbit - Not only one of the best restaurants in Moscow and Russia, but one of the best restaurants in the world. White Rabbit has a unique theme - Alice in Wonderland - rabbits and fairytales, and with an amazing view of Moscow.

Here was the menu we tried:

Coconut and linden
Sunflower and smoked caviar
Scallop, carrot, raspberry
Russian pickle, sour cream and honey
Sea urchin, potatoes, tangerines
Green tomatoes, milk mushrooms
Cabbage, caviar, champagne
Black cod, kvass and artichoke
Quail, egg and corn
Salad with lettuce, avocado and onion
Beets, burnt hazelnuts
Birch bast, condensed milk
Russian berry
Russian caviar, powdered sugar

Chef Vladimir Mukhin - White Rabbit - The meal and entire experience was beyond epic, absolutely stunning. It was an education on Russian food, and truly flavors that blew me away with taste, and combination of ingredients. Presentation was beautiful, but the flavors and surprises are what really stood out.

An amazing Russian food meat at White Rabbit and I would highly recommend it as one of the world’s best restaurants.

Thank you again to Thank you to Chef Vladimir ( and White Rabbit Moscow!

Soviet Russian Food Tour - $3.59 Cheapest Russian Canteen Meal!! | Saint Petersburg, Russia!

????Sergey’s Channel:
????Russian Food Tour of Moscow:
????T-shirts and caps:

Thank you to Sergey from Real Russia ( for taking us on this Soviet Union / Russian Food tour of Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was an amazing day. #Russia #RussianFood #SaintPetersburg

Pyshechnaya - This is one of the most legendary places to eat donuts in all of Russia. And they’ve preserved their style, recipe, and even price from the Soviet Union period. At first I thought just a couple of these Soviet donuts would be fine, but Sergey reassured me we needed a plate of them. He was right, they are easily the world’s most addictive donuts. And they only cost $0.23 per donut. Must visit when you’re in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Café Singer - House of the Books - Next since we were in the area, we went to Café Singer, a legendary cafe and restaurant. We mainly went to see the heritage and view. Food and coffee were alright, not the best.

Kvartirka - Soviet Restaurant - This was probably the best meal of the day. Kvartirka is again a Soviet / Russian restaurant set up like a house, and serving a mix of dishes popular during the Soviet Union period. I tried the borscht and the Chicken Kiev both of which were quite delicious and homely. An amazing meal and nice environment.

Stolovaya № 1 - Soviet Canteen - Finally to finish this Soviet Union food tour of Saint Petersburg, Russia, we ate at one of the cheapest meal options in the city - a Soviet style canteen. You walk through the line, choose the dishes you want, and pay for what you eat. It was a good experience, and delicious food. Total price - 229 RUB ($3.59)

Again, a huge thank you to Sergey from Real Russia ( for taking me on this food tour!

Inside Russia!! EPIC RUSSIAN FOOD + 95°C Russian Steam Bath (Sauna) in Snow!! | Suzdal, Russia!

????Ultimate Moscow Food Tour:
????Dmitry:
????T-shirts and caps:

SUZDAL, RUSSIA - Outside of Moscow, we headed to the Russian countryside in search of delicious home-style Russian food and especially for a chance to try the Russian steam bath, known as a banya, or sauna. #Russia #RussianFood

Big thank you to Dmitry from Value of the Moment ( for taking us around Moscow. Check him out for tours in Russia, especially in and around Murmansk.

Pechki-Lavochki - Russian countryside lodge - This is where we headed first, an amazing rustic lodge in the countryside, and known for its farm and banya (sauna). We started by cooking lunch, which they had prepared some local Russian dishes, including a soup of cabbage and pork cooked in a hot fire oven, and a selection of pickled wild mushrooms, along with a selection of Russian vodka and drinks. The food was delicious!

Next we went into Suzdal to do some sightseeing, visiting some churches and museums of heritage. We visited the Museum of Wooden Architecture and the Suzdal Kremlin, both of which were impressive.

Ogurets Restaurant - Suzdal, Russia - Next we had a snack at Ogurets Restaurant, a restaurant that translates to cucumber. The food was pretty good, but not as good as the home-cooked food we had before.

We returned to Pechki-Lavochki, the Russian lodge, to eat Russian pancakes and some desserts, and finally for the main event of the night - Russian steam back, or banya (sauna). It was amazing, and there was just enough snow to bake in the banya and then roll in the snow!

Thank you again to Dmitry from

King of Seafood - BLACK SEA FISH PARTY + Unseen Danube Delta, Romania!

Danube Delta, Romania - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Danube Delta was one of the destinations I was most looking forward to visiting on my trip to Romania. It’s a stunningly beautiful place, teeming with delicious fish from the Danube River and the Black Sea. #Romania #DanubeDelta #Food

Green Village Resort - First of all a huge thank you to Green Village Resort for hosting us and for arranging this entire amazing Danube Delta experience in Romania.

We arrived in the evening, and started with an incredible seafood fish feast at the resort before calling it a night.

In the morning we got on a boat for breakfast, tried fishing without any luck, and ended up in a narrow waterway in the beautiful Danube Delta for breakfast. The smoked fish and smashed onions were the highlight.

Fisherman soup - For lunch, we made a huge pot of local style Danube Delta fish soup.

King of Romanian Seafood at La Mache - Finally to end this incredible Romanian seafood tour of the Danube Delta we drove to a restaurant called La Mache. I had no idea what to expect. Turned out to be a full show of fish and seafood from the Black Sea and the Danube Delta and one of the most spectacular meals of my entire trip to Romania.

Also, thank you to Nassim ( and Cristian ( for setting up this incredible trip.

Insane Food in Romania - GIGANTIC MEDIEVAL BBQ + Mangalica Hairy Pig!

????Copenhagen Street Food Tour:
????T-shirts and caps:
Ferma Dacilor:

This was the ultimate Romanian medieval BBQ meat feast. Huge thank you to Nassim ( and Cristian ( for setting up this incredible trip. #Romania #RomaniaFood #bbq

Meat Paradise in Romania at Ferma Dacilor ( - During my trip to Romania, we went to a place called Ferma Dacilor, one of the most unique and special meals and food experiences of my trip to Romania. The entire concept is straight farm to table, where nearly everything they serve, from the meat to the vegetables and seasoning, are grown, produced, and aged, on location at the farm.

Medieval BBQ Cooking - Not only is the food fresh and local, but they strive to cook things in the ancient way, they way their ancestors cooked - over fire, rustic, iron, and huge portions of Romanian food.

Along with the 110 KG pig they roasted whole, one of the highlights for me was trying Mangalica pig, a type of hairy pig that almost looks like a sheep. The fat is said to be quite healthy, with little to no cholesterol. The meat was fatty and delicious.

Huge thank you to Cornelo and his entire family for hosting us and for making our time at Ferma Dacilor so memorable. One of the best Romanian food experiences!

The BEST Ukrainian Food - Top 3 MUST-EAT Dishes in Kyiv (Kiev)

Come join me for a EPIC multicourse meal of traditional Ukrainian food at the authentic restaurant O'Panas in Kyiv (Kiev). O'Panas is a great restaurant to try and sample the Ukrainian cuisine. The most popular and traditional Ukrainian foods are probably borscht, varenyky and deruny. These dishes is what you should eat in Ukraine. And for your information, Ukrainian food is relatively inexpensive.

Borscht is one of the most, if not the most, established dish of the Ukrainian cuisine. The soup is served warm and the red color derives from beetroot which is one of the main ingredients among sautéed vegetables and potatoes. Borscht is garnished with dill and sour cream and comes sometimes with chunks of meat. Side dishes includes fluffy buns named pampushky.

Varenyky, or Ukrainian dumplings, are another national dish. These dumplings are served as main course and dessert and therefore come with a range of different fillings, for example meat, potatoes, vegetables, fruits etcetera. You can get it throughout the year both as a everyday meal or at celebrations. Savory or sweet, Ukrainian dumplings can't go wrong. And by the way, the sour cream is important!

Deruny are the classic potato pancakes. These pancakes consist of grated potatoes and it's popular to add eggs and onion. The batter is then fried to small pancakes. Ukrainians love their sour cream, so don't forget to garnish these cute pancakes for the ultimate Ukrainian food experience.

Restaurant address:

Kyiv is underrated and probably one of the best cities to visit in Europe. The capital of Ukraine should be on par with Rome, Paris and London. Kyiv is a beautiful destination high on interest, but in comparison to those mentioned; non touristy. Adding friendly people, delicious food, grand architecture, great weather, inexpensive... If you ever plan to visit Europe, then Kyiv should be on your list.

12 courses at russia's best restaurant | WHITE RABBIT, MOSCOW

When I was travelling in Russia alone in October 2019, I spent some time in Moscow. While I was there, I knew I HAD to eat at White Rabbit, commonly known as Russia's best restaurant, and also featured in an episode of the Netflix series Chef's Table.

Although I had noone to go with, and felt a bit weird to go fine dining alone, I knew this might be the only opportunity I had to eat here, so I just did and booked a reservation.

As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was blown away by the AMAZING view over Moscow. I had never seen a view like this before at a restaurant. What followed was 12 courses of unique, intensly creative and delicious food.

I hope you enjoy this video and can live through my experience with me.

Best Russian Food Tour in Moscow with a Local

During our trip to Russia, we did a Russian food tour in Moscow. We really enjoyed trying different Russian dishes and spending time with our local guide.

We tried about 12 different things from drinks to food and the tour was about 3 hours. This was our first time trying real Russian food and overall we thought the food was really good and Russia should be better known for its food culture.

If you are thinking of doing a food tour in Moscow, we would recommend going with Unique Tours with Natalie Sterdam.

She was really easy going and took us to some places we would have never found on our own. So, if you are looking to try Russian food in Moscow, check her out.

Eat Borscht a traditional Ukrainian food in Kiev Layover

Borsch is the most popular soup of Ukrainian cuisine that got its name from the most important ingredient, beets, called in old Slavic, borsch.
There isn’t any reliable information about borsch origin, but the mention of it dates back to Cossack times (XV-XVI centuries).
The legend says that the first-ever borscht was cooked during the two-month siege of Cossacks fortress, occupied by Turkish army.
In order to feed four hundred people Cossacks collected everything edible around (vegetables) and added it to meat broth. The course was nourishing, quick, easy and tasty enough to become popular and permanent in Cossacks and then Ukrainian and European ration.

It is best enjoyed with glass of vodka
And bread

The best place to have it is a traditional restaurant called Tsarskoye Selo in the capital city Kiev .
