Royal Princess Mexico Cruise Vlog - Camels in Cabo!

Hey Cruisers,
We've got a fun one today. We are in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on day 3 of our Royal Princess Medallion Class Mexican Riviera cruise. We are trying a completely unique excursion in Cabo. We are checking out Cabo Adventure's Camel excursion. We start the day off cruising into Cabo bright and early. I'll give you a little rundown of the previous sea day activities, and an intro to the plan for our day in Cabo. Then we jump on a tender, and embark on our Cabo camel adventure. It's close to an hour drive by bus, but it goes by fast, and we really enjoyed the family time together. As you'll see in the video, the ride can get a bit bumpy, so be prepared. The terrific Cabo Adventure staff provide a thorough explanation of the activity and rules before the adventure begins. After that, it's time to hop on a camel. The ride is actually quite peaceful, and if you can get over the fact that you're riding a camel on the beach, there's some beautiful scenery to be enjoyed. After the camel ride it's time for lunch, and I have to say lunch was fantastic. The Cabo Adventures crew did an awesome job, and the food was super tasty. We'll give you a look at the food in the video, but it doesn't do it justice. You definitely have to try it for yourself. You'll have a chance to review, and purchase photos and video in their photo gallery, and since cameras (other than body mounted GoPro style) are not permitted, we recommend you stop in and at least check it out. The ride back to the ship was comfortable, and gave us a good opportunity to talk about the fun day we shared. I'll close out this Royal Princess cruise vlog with a look back on our adventure, and a brief discussion about the Ocean Medallion and the night's dinner in the main dining room.

If you arrive in Cabo San Lucas, you must take a camel ride. We stayed another day on the Carnival Miracle cruise ship in Cabo San Lucas and enjoyed a camel ride. If you've ever wondered what day one of a Medallion Class Princess cruise is like, you're going to want to watch this video. We've essentially captured every event from day 1 of our Royal Princess Mexican Riviera cruise, and squeezed it down into just under 30 minutes.
We start the day in our pre-cruise hotel, the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro, then head to port for embarkation. Embarkation with Princess’s Ocean Medallion is incredibly smooth, and we were stunned by how fast we were onboard. From there, the fun begins, and we visit Royal Princess' adults only Sanctuary and Retreat Pool, and tour the incredible Lotus Spa.
Kids club check-in is a snap on Royal Princess, and we'll explain just how easy it is in this video. We'll also give you a look at our mini suite balcony stateroom on Royal Princess, and show you how I unpack at hyper speed. After a painless muster, it's time for a balcony sunset, and Royal Princess' absolutely off the hook sail away party. Then it's time for dinner in Royal Princess' Concerto dining room. After dinner, we play a few Ocean Medallion games and then embark on some epic shopping. Our visit to Effy Jewelry was super fun. The staff there is incredibly nice, and I had an absolute blast trying stuff on.

Royal Princess Mexico Cruise - Truly Unique Excursion: Marine Baby Turtle Encounter

Hey Cruisers,
Today we are in Mazatlan as we continue the adventures of our Royal Princess Mexican Riviera cruise. We cruise into balmy Mazatlan bright and early just in time for wonderful view of the port from our stateroom balcony. We meet our guide at the dock, and board a comfortable bus for the relaxing trip to the turtle sanctuary at Estella del Mar. This is a truly unique Princess Excursion that starts with a visit and introduction to the Turtle Sanctuary. The official name of this excursion is: A Day At The Beach & Marine Baby Turtle Encounter. The Estrella del Mar Turtle Sanctuary is dedicated to the protection, rehabilitation and conservation of the sea turtle within its natural environment. Here, marine biologists gather endangered gulf turtle eggs and incubate them in a safe environment. The eggs are placed at the exact depth that the mother laid them and allowed to incubate for 45 days. Normally, hatchlings would immediately return to the sea, but the sanctuary allows the tiny turtles time to gain strength before placing them back on the sand during the night when they are less visible to predators so they can make their dash to the ocean.
We we fortunate enough to participate in a mock turtle release on the beach. This Princess excursion may not always include a mock turtle release, so we were happy to have the opportunity. You'll get a good look at the mock release in this video. From there we board the bus again for a very short trip to the resort where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, hours of fun on the beach, and hanging out in the hot tub. Our time on the beach was just priceless family time, and something I think we'll all remember and treasure. After the excursion it's back to the dock. We encounter a brief wait at the port, but it's not long before we are back on the Royal Princess. We book reservations at Royal Princess' Sabatini's. We'll give you a good look a the food, and close out this cruise vlog with a review of the day. Thank you all for following along on our Royal Princess Mexican Riviera cruise. Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Cruise - Cabo San Lucas Mexico
Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Cruise - Cabo San Lucas Mexico! We took a 7 Day Mexican Riviera Cruise on the Carnival Splendor. We departed from Long Beach California with stops at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. In this video you will see our day in Cabo San Lucas. Due to shallow waters you arrive in Cabo San Lucas from a tender boat. Once there we walked down the Plaza Embarcadero to a liquor store which we stop by yearly to visit Alex and get some beers. We walked around the marina and took a glass bottom boat tour around Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach. Afterwards we went back and danced at Senor Frogs, which was very fun. We walked around and checked out the Cabo San Lucas cruise port. There were lots of shops, we walked all the way to the other side and then back again. The Marina Mercado is a very large arts and crafts market where you can find lots of souvenirs for friends, family and of course yourself. We came back on the ship and went for dinner. They do a nightly show and those who like can join in the dancing. The cruise ship usually has Rare Finds, foods you've always wanted to try but haven't yet dared. Tonight was Braised Rabbit puff pastry shell and red wine sauce, we both tried it and loved it.
Afterwards we took in a show, which we always enjoy. We visited the piano bar for a spell and then checked out a guitar player before heading back to our room. We were delighted in the Elephant Michael our cabin steward made us.
Our Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Cruise was from September 28, 2019 - October 5, 2019 and it was the perfect way to celebrate our 3 Year Wedding Anniversary.
