Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park & Cabins is an easy 2.5 hour picturesque drive from Brisbane or 1.5 hours from Toowoomba.
Set high in the mountains of the Border Ranges, opposite the world heritage listed Queen Mary Falls and 10km from the village of Killarney, Queensland, the Park is amongst the tall trees in a tranquil bushland setting. As well the many powered and unpowered sites there is a range of cabin accommodation to suit all your needs from small studio cabins to the luxury spa cabin.
The deck of The Falls Cafe, is a popuar place to enjoy a cappuccino and try of the delicious homemade cakes, slices and scones which are baked fresh? The Cafe is open daily from 8.30am to 4.30pm and offers breakfast and lunch. Cafe closed Thursdays except during Queensland School holidays
Of course some of the attractions are the Queen Mary Falls, which are located just across the road in the Queen Mary Falls National Park, where you can take a stroll to either the viewing platform (500m) or a circuit including the bottom of the falls (2km).
And don't forget the beautiful parrots that come into the feeding area of the Park daily, here you can see King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Satin Bowerbirds and various other wonderful birds.
We can also organise tours to places such as the wineries at Stanthorpe and Condamine River Gorge. Or you can discover yourself the many wonderful places that are only a stone's throw away; we are more than happy to help with your touring information.
So why not escape to the mountains where you can leave all your business world behind you with no TV, limited mobile phone service, no newspapers. If you feel this is for you, this is the place to be!
You can come for a daytrip or perhaps you would rather stay overnight or longer, there's plenty to see and do. Don't forget to bring your bush walking shoes and a torch for spotting the night life.
Hook up your 'van or pack the car and meander up the mountain on the easy accessible road where you will find peace and tranquility and wake up to the beauty.

If you want a retreat in nature that offers lots of abundant wildlife and a totally relaxed feel in nature, this could be on your bucket list.
Just 34kms outside of Warwick, 2hrs out of Brisbane.
Please check with the reception before you head out because there is a closed road from a landslide that requires you to take an alternate route.

Parrots at Queen Mary Falls
We spent a couple of nights at the Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park. Fantastic spot with some very friendly birds. If you were at your site, they would call in a couple of times a day. If you had some seed for them, they would stay a while. If not, they went to the next site.

Part of Main Range National Park, Queen Mary Falls is a popular daytrip destination providing ample picnic spots and views of the spectacular waterfall. Look out for fireflies and glow worms at dusk from late October to November!
Embark on the Falls Drive, which takes you past Browns Falls, Daggs Falls and onto Queen Mary Falls.

Take A Hike With Me to Queen Mary Falls a 1.9km (1.18mi) moderately trafficked loop trail located 50km (31mi) south-east of Warwick and 10km (6.2mi) east of the town of Killarney, Queensland, Australia that features a beautiful 40m (130ft) plunge waterfall, this hike is suitable for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.

Queen Mary Falls - Queensland Hiking
A short 2km hike on the Queen Mary Falls circuit, passing a lookout and the base of the impressive 35 metre high waterfall in southern Queensland, near Killarney.
Queen Mary Falls - Stunning 40m waterfall near Killarney, QLD
Queen Mary Falls are located 50 kilometres south-east of Warwick and 10 kilometres east of the town of Killarney. It's a great spot for a day trip from Brisbane.
Stroll along the Queen Mary Falls circuit to the lookout giving views of Spring Creek plunging 40m over Queen Mary Falls. Continue along the track to descend from the eucalypt-covered ridge top into the rainforest gorge at the base of the falls. Pause to view the falls from creek level and feel the waterfall's cool spray.
Four other waterfalls are located in the area surrounding Killarney, including the Teviot Falls, Daggs Falls, Browns Falls and Upper Browns Falls.

We head off in the 4wd to drive the Condamine River, crossing the river 14 times and before stopping at Carrs Lookout.
Adele heads into Killarney for a look around this beautiful country town.

Then onto Daggs falls lookout to check out the amazing scenery from this easy accessed lookout. We finish this tour at the Spectacular Queen Mary falls dropping a great height of 40 metres all nestled in a gorge with beautiful walking tracks and lookouts.
