After weaving in out of the market, the walk continues up Muizz street and passed several famous Islamic landmarks. The camera was not allowed inside most of them. Let's go for a walk!

Egyptian Museum Cairo, Egypt (First Floor) Walking Tour
This walk was filmed on the evening of January 20th, 2019. I had limited time to film the museum since it was closing soon so this is a QUICK walk through. I walk past many exhibits. There was also very little light since it was dark outside and much of the museum is lit through the windows to the outside. The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Egyptologists conclude that the pyramid was built as a tomb for the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu and estimate that it was built in the 26th century BC during a period of around 27 years.

Initially standing at 146.5 meters (481 feet), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years. Over time, most of the smooth white limestone casing was removed, which lowered the pyramid's height to the present 138.5 meters (454.4 ft). What is seen today is the underlying core structure. The base was measured to be about 230.3 meters (755.6 ft) square, giving a volume of roughly 2.6 million cubic meters (92 million cubic feet), which includes an internal hillock. The dimensions of the pyramid were 280 royal cubits (146.7 m; 481.4 ft) high, a base length of 440 cubits (230.6 m; 756.4 ft), with a seked of 5.5 palms (a slope of 51°50'40).
The Great Pyramid was built by quarrying an estimated 2.3 million large blocks weighing 6 million tonnes in total. The majority of stones are not uniform in size or shape and are only roughly dressed. The outside layers were bound together by mortar. Primarily local limestone from the Giza Plateau was used. Other blocks were imported by boat down the Nile: White limestone from Tura for the casing, and granite blocks from Aswan, weighing up to 80 tonnes, for the King's Chamber structure.
There are three known chambers inside the Great Pyramid. The lowest was cut into the bedrock, upon which the pyramid was built, but remained unfinished. The so-called Queen's Chamber and King's Chamber, that contains a granite sarcophagus, are higher up, within the pyramid structure. Khufu's vizier, Hemiunu (also called Hemon), is believed by some to be the architect of the Great Pyramid. Many varying scientific and alternative hypotheses attempt to explain the exact construction techniques.
The funerary complex around the pyramid consisted of two mortuary temples connected by a causeway (one close to the pyramid and one near the Nile), tombs for the immediate family and court of Khufu, including three smaller pyramids for Khufu's wives, an even smaller satellite pyramid and five buried solar barges.

Sphinx Tour at 8am - NO CROWDS! (4K/60fps)
Walk through the Valley Temple to the Great Sphinx at 8am with no crowds. This walk was filmed on January 20th, 2019. You will get as close as a tourist can get to the Great Sphinx and see it without having to look past other tourists. After walking around the Sphinx, the tour continues up Khafre's Causeway toward Khafre's Pyramid. ????For an even more immersive experience, be sure to put on your headphones and listen in 3D audio.

You can find travel tips anywhere, but here are a few of my own:
1) Take an Uber to get there or get a airbnb right next to the Sphinx entrance.
2) Do not enter the Pyramid Complex by the Khufu Pyramid. Go early and enter at the Sphinx.
3) When you walk in, there is a wall that separates the road from the interior grounds. You are free to climb over the wall. You are essentially free to roam and walk wherever you want.
4) The cost of a camel ride should be about $5. Some places will try to charge you $50 per person...or more. The cost of a horse cart ride is also cheap but DECIDE ON A PRICE FIRST. Do not get on a camel or cart unless you have first determined a price. You should be able to take a horse cart ride from Sphinx to the scenic viewpoint for $5 or less.
5) Learn a few helpful phrases...but around the Pyramids, learn to say Moshayes which means I don't want it. You will be harassed a lot while you are there...but they are just trying to make a living.
6) You DO NOT need to give you ticket to anyone when inside the complex. You will be approached by guys saying they need your ticket and that they are a guide that is part of your ticket price. They are just trying to get you to pay them for their service. Keep your ticket....and say Moshayes.

A Walk inside Giza pyramid Complex in Egypt during my visit to this beautiful country this year.
In the walk you can see the marvelous Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza.
It was safe, beautiful and lovely walk and although it was winter time but the weather was great. The locals are lovely and very friendly and it was a nice tour.
The Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Khafre are the largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt, and they have historically been common as emblems of Ancient Egypt in the Western imagination. They were popularised in Hellenistic times, when the Great Pyramid was listed by Antipater of Sidon as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is by far the oldest of the Ancient Wonders and the only one still in existence.

Scientists still wonder how the Egyptians managed to organize such a complex workforce and the physical movement of large blocks of stone. The construction of the pyramids may have involved ramps built around it on which the stone blocks were pulled with sledges, and eventually, the ramps were dismantled. 110 pyramids were discovered in Egypt. Some were built as burial places for kings, others for queens.
These are the pyramids on the Giza plateau. They were built as graves for 3 pharaohs, the first for Kheops, the second for his son, the third for his nephew and the small one for his wife.
The Pyramid of Cheops or The Great Pyramid is one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. The Great Pyramid was built 4,500 years ago.
