Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. It was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we rean out of money and went home to normal life. We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Kara & Nate have been living out of their sprinter van since last year while we've lived in and out of DIY van builds since 2017. So, we thought it would be fun to trade vans for 24 hours to see what we love, hate and admire about each other's van layouts. The ultimate #vanlife showdown ???? vs. ???? !!!!
Hi Everyone ???? We're Eamon and Bec. In 2017 we bought our first sprinter van and spent 30 days renovating it into our dream tiny home. The plan was to van life around the world and we'd made it all the way from Canada to Africa. Fast forward to COVID...us abandoning our van in a Moroccan parking lot, flying home to Canada, converting yet another van, and then moving to our cabin in the woods. We've always envisioned moving into the woods by the lake and building our dream tiny cabin as a home base for us to come back to in between our international van life travels. Our return to van life is in the near future but before we fly to Morocco we wanted to have a little fun with Kara & Nate.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????

???????????? KARA'S FAMOUS ONE POT PEANUT BUTTER RAMEN RECIPE!
I'm usually a biiiig measuring cup kind of girl, but for some reason with this recipe, I don't measure anything and taste it along the way. The ingredients change every time. Have fun with it!!! ????
This is for 2 servings (keep in mind i have no idea what i'm doing):
Ingredients:
Olive oil (or whatever you like)
4ish Garlic cloves
1ish inch fresh Ginger
2 of your favorite instant ramens
Salt
Pepper
Coconut aminos
Cayenne pepper
Peanut butter
Fresh Cilantro
Green onions
Toasted sesame seeds
Sriracha
1. Sauté the garlic and ginger with some olive oil
2. Add water (or veg broth!) and make the “sauce”
3. Add the seasoning package that comes with the ramen if you want, or make your own:
4. Add coconut aminos (Idk, maybe 1/3 cup?), salt, pepper, cayenne (if using soy sauce, you don't need as much or any salt!). You could also add the chopped green onions here to cook In the sauce
5. Stir in 1ish scoop of peanut butter
6. Add in noods and let it all cook together
7. Put in bowls and add fresh cilantro, green onion, sesame seeds, and sriracha!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we rean out of money and went home to normal life. We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????
