Miami Cruise Port | WHERE TO STAY BEFORE A CRUISE | Fun and cheap activities near Port of Miami
If you are getting to Miami the day before your cruise and want to make a vacation day out of it, I highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn-Port of Miami on Biscayne Blvd. It is minutes from the cruise port and within walking distance to so many activities, food and shopping at Bayside Marketplace. Once you are there you do not need to rent an uber besides when you go to the cruise port the next morning. In this video I show the hotel as well as what we did during the day and night life. You can go on a tour to star island or have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. There is something for everybody. If you are a cruise fanatic like me, you can take a uber across the bridge to Miami Beach where you can watch the cruise ships sail away. It was breath taking to watch them leave at night time. I'm so excited to take you all aboard with me on the Independence of the Seas for a 5 night voyage from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas and Falmouth, Jamaica. I'm booked in Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom 1868 on the Spa deck, which is a first for me! I loved this location and the stateroom in general- I'll also detail how the embarkation goes from Terminal G, which is definitely a smaller terminal than Royal Caribbean's custom-built terminal down the way. It was a beautiful day to start a cruise. Our drive to the port of Miami went nice and easy. We boarded the Symphony of the Seas quickly and without any problems and had a great cruise.
