First Impressions of Warsaw, Poland (History & Food)
In this video, we're taking a tour of Warsaw, Poland and sharing our first impressions of the city. Warsaw is a beautiful city with a rich history. We'll take a look at the Warsaw uprising museum and see the history of the city through the eyes of those who lived through it. We'll also explore the Old Town, where you'll find some of the best food in Warsaw. This tour is a great way to get a sense of the city and start planning your trip!

স্বাগতম সবাইকে প্রজেক্ট রিভাইলের প্রথম রোডট্রিপ ভিডিওতে। জার্মানির রাজধানী বার্লিন থেকে রওনা হয়ে, শহর গ্রাম ছাড়িয়ে, বৃষ্টি কিংবা বরফে ঢাকা এলাকা পেরিয়ে গাড়ি চলছে প্রায় সাড়ে ছয়শ কিলোমিটার দূরের গন্তব্যে।
মাঝে বেশ কয়েকবার গাড়ি চার্জিং আর আমাদের চার্জিং অর্থাৎ খাবারের জন্য বিরতি নিলাম পথের ভিন্ন ভিন্ন জায়গায় জায়গায়। আর হাইওয়ে ধরে যতই সামনে এগুলাম পথের দুইপাশে সাদা বরফের পরিমাণ বাড়তে থাকল। আর সব দেখে শুনে রসেনহাইমে পৌঁছাতে পৌঁছাতে রাত হয়ে গেল।
একটু ঘুরে ফিরেই রওনা দিলাম আবারো হাইওয়ে ধরে। চারিদিকে শুধু এখন একটিই রং - আর সেটা হল সাদা। দূরের পাহাড়গুলোর চুড়া কিংবা পথের দুই ধার, সবই বরফে ঢাকা। আমাদের আজকের গন্তব্য স্লোভেনিয়ার রাজধানী লুবলিয়ানা। তবে জার্মানি থেকে স্লোভেনিয়া যেতে হলে অস্ট্রিয়ার ভেতর দিয়ে যেতে হয়। আর আমরা এখন অস্ট্রিয়ার বর্ডারের দিকেই যাচ্ছি আর পাহাড়গুলোও যেন একদম কাছে চলে এল। অস্ট্রিয়ান আল্পসের গোঁড়ায় অবস্থিত একটু ছোট্ট টাউনে কফি আর চার্জিং ব্রেক নিলাম।
এরপরের রাস্তাটা আসলেই ভাষায় বর্ননা করার মতন না। অস্ট্রিয়ান আল্পসের একরকম ভেতর দিয়েই হাইওয়ে চলে গেছে কখনও পাহাড়ের খাঁজ দিয়ে আবার কখনও পাহাড়ের ভেতরের টানেল দিয়ে। যেদিকে তাকাই সেদিকেই মুগ্ধ হয়ে তাকিয়ে থাকার মতন দৃশ্য বলা যায়। বেশ উঁচুতে নির্মিত এই হাইওয়ের নাম টাওয়ারন হাইওয়ে, ১৯২ কিমি লম্বা এই হাইওয়েতে প্রায় ২৪ কিমি রাস্তাই ১৪ টি টানেলের মাঝে দিয়ে গেছে যার বেশ কিছু অংশের উচ্চতা সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে ১৩০০ মিটারের চেয়েও বেশি। সবচেয়ে লম্বা টানেলটির দৈর্ঘ প্রায় সাড়ে ছয় কিলোমিটার।
এমনই একটি লম্বা টানেল দিয়ে উঁচু বরফে ঢাকা একটা পাহাড়ের ভেতর ঢুকে অন্য প্রান্ত দিয়ে বেরুতেই অবাক করার মতন দৃশ্য। যেন এক নিমিষেই অন্য অন্য এক সময়ে চলে এলাম। টানেলের অপর পাশের মতন মেঘ, বরফ কিছুই নেই, একদম ঝকঝকে রোদেলা আবহাওয়া! আর পাহাড়ের গায়ে সবুজের ছোঁয়াও দেখার মতন এই শীতের মাঝেও।
ভুর্জেনপাস নামক একটা মাউন্টেন পাসের উপর দিয়ে স্লোভেনিয়ার দিকে চললাম। আঁকাবাঁকা পাহাড়ি পথে গাড়ি চলেছে, প্রতিটি বাক থেকেই দেখা দৃশ্যই সুন্দর।
ভুর্জেনপাস পেরিয়ে ক্রাঞ্জস্কা গোরা নামক এলাকায় ঢুকতেই একটা ভিউপয়েন্টে চোখ আটকে গেল। এই অঞ্চলটি মূলত স্লোভেনিয়ার সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত স্কি টাউন, তাই এই পিক সিজনে অনেক মানুষ ছুটে এসেছে এখানে স্কি করতে। চারিদিকের সাদার মাঝে রং রেরঙ্গের বাড়িঘরগুলো এই ছোট টাউনের সৌন্দর্য অনেকাংশেই বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। সবদিকে পাহাড়, মাঝে দিয়ে কল কল শব্দে বয়ে চলা নদী, ঝর্না, জমে যাওয়া লেক, ছিমছাম বাড়িঘর, স্কি করার জায়গা - সব মিলিয়ে ছবির মতন সুন্দর একটা অঞ্চল।
আমাদের এখনকার গন্তব্য স্লোভেনিয়ার জুলিয়ান আল্পসের একটা মাউন্টেউন পাস - ভিরসিস পাস। প্রায় ১৬০০ মিটার উঁচু এই পাসের রাস্তাটা বেশ কঠিন অনেকগুলো বাক নিয়ে উপরে উঠে গেছে, তাই গাড়ি বেশ আস্তেই চালাতে হচ্ছে। তবে আমাদের এখানে আসতে আসতে বেশ দেরি হয়ে যাওয়ায় আজকের মতন পাস পর্যন্ত যাবার মিশন আপাতত ক্ষান্ত দিলাম। তার বদলে মাঝে এক জায়গায় থেমে পাহাড়ের উপর দিনের শেষের আলোর সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করে নিলাম খানিকক্ষণ। সেখান থেকে ফিরে স্লোভেনিয়ার রাজধানী লুবলিয়ানার পথে ছুটলাম। দিনের শেষের রক্তিম সুর্যের আভার দুর পাহাড়ের চুড়াগুলো জ্বল জ্বল করে ওঠার দৃশ্য দেখতে দেখতে এখসময় সারাদিনের ক্লান্তি নিয়ে পৌছালাম গন্তব্যে। তারপর খেয়েই এদিনের মতন ঘুম।
স্লোভেনিয়া ছোট দেশ হওয়ায় রাজধানী থেকে মাত্র ১-২ ঘণ্টা গাড়ি চালিয়েই যেকোন দিকে পাহাড় বা সমুদ্র কিংবা অন্য শহরে চলে যাওয়া যায়। তাই সকাল সকাল উত্তরের একটা পাহাড়ি এলাকায় চলে গেলাম। একদম সকাল হওয়ায় একরকম পাহাড়ের বুকে দিনের আলো ফুটে উঠার দৃশ্য দেখতে দেখতে রাস্তার শেষে পৌঁছে গেলাম। সবদিকেই পাহাড় আর তার বুকেই কয়েকটি ছোট ছোট গেস্ট হাউস, এমন জায়গায় থাকার অনুভূতিই অন্যরকম হবার কথা! এখানে কিছুক্ষণ ছবি তূলে পাশেই থাকা ছোট্ট পুকুরের দিকে চোখ গেল, একদম স্বচ্ছ নীলচে-সবুজ পানির এই পুকুরে সকালের রোঁদের আলোতে পাহাড়ের চুড়াগুলোর প্রতিচ্ছবি এক অসাধারণ পরিবেশ তৈরি করল। সেখানে বেশ খানিকক্ষণ হাঁটাহাঁটি আর ছবি তোলা শেষে ফিরে এলাম লুবলিয়ানায়।
স্লোভেনিয়ার রাজধানী লুবলিয়ানা, ইউরোপের সবচেয়ে কম জনসংখ্যার রাজধানীগুলোর মাঝে একটি। অবস্থানগত দিক থেকে স্লোভেনিয়ার একদম মাঝামাঝি অবস্থিত এই শহর আমাদের মতন টুরিস্টদের জন্য পারফেক্ট জায়গা, যেহেতু যেকোন দিকেই খুব সহজেই আর অল্প সময়ে চলে যাওয়া যায়। তবে এখন আমরা ঘুরে দেখবো লুবনিয়ানার ওল্ড টাউন আর ওল্ড টাউন ঘুরে দেখার ক্ষেত্রে প্রথমেই যে জিনিসটা চোখে পড়ে তা হচ্ছে লুবলিয়ানা ক্যাসেল।
