TRYING LECHON FOR THE FIRST TIME - UNEXPECTED REACTION - FOREIGNERS TRYING FILIPINO FOOD

Trying lechon for the first time was a great experience with an unexpected reaction. The staff and the people visiting had fun watching us foreigners trying filipino food and reviewing filipino food. I think we found the best lechon in Manila maybe it is even the best lechon in the philippines we still need to be trying lechon in other locations to make a final verdict.

How to recreate Jungkook's trip to The Philippines

Hi! My name is Aimee. I love traveling, filming and editing videos. On my free time, I tend to do a lot of research on different travel locations. A source for my research is Youtube. While researching I have come to realise that I tend to not find videos that cater to my personal preference of how I want a travel video to be, as I like them short, concise and straight to the point. My aim with my travel videos is to create and provide travel videos that cater to my personal preference.

I also love BTS. The footage that I use, that I did not originally create, is footage of BTS. They have a lot of footage, and this footage is hours worth of them going on about their day as a group. It is basically video diaries made for fans to spend the day with BTS, and to get to know BTS on a more personal level. When I watch this content, rather than focusing on BTS and getting to know BTS on a more personal level, like what I am intended to do and what other fans do, I instead mainly focus on what they did in all of these locations, and what these locations have to offer. And I do this because traveling is a hobby of mine.

This hobby of mine translates to the BTS videos that I edit and post on my channel. When I edit these BTS videos, I edit them into step by step travel guide videos of these locations, based on what BTS did in these locations in their footage. When I edit them in this way, and have the main focus in my videos be what one can do in this location rather than BTS, I add significant original commentary or educational value to the original footage, hence my videos become edited footage from other creators where I’ve added a storyline or commentary. And through this, I believe that I put a thoughtful spin on content I didn’t originally create, hence I’ve transformed the content in some way.

My videos tell a viewer “this is what I can do and see in this location”, rather than just show “clips of moments from a show edited together with little or no narrative”, and I know that my viewers perceive it this way too. I’ve received countless of comments that indicate that the viewers perceive my videos as travel guides rather than as videos with the same intention as their footage of getting to know BTS. Hence, viewers acknowledge that there is a meaningful difference between the original video and my edited videos.

INCREDIBLE FILIPINO FOOD - TRYING SISIG, ADOBO, BICOL EXPRESS AND SINIGANG IN MANILA - FOOD VLOG

Adobo:
Philippine Adobo is a popular dish & cooking process in Philippine cuisine that involves meat, seafood, or vegetables marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, & black peppercorns, which is browned in oil, & simmered in the marinade. It has sometimes been considered as the unofficial national dish in the Philippines.

The cooking method is indigenous to the Philippines. Early Filipinos cooked their food normally by roasting, steaming or boiling methods. To keep it fresh longer, food was often cooked by immersion in vinegar & salt. Thus, it is very likely that Filipinos could have been cooking meat in vinegar as a means of preservation. This process dates back to the Pre-Hispanic Period & was used for pork & chicken.

Bicol Express:
Bicol Express is a popular Filipino dish which was popularized in the district of Malate, Manila but made in traditional Bicolano style. It is a stew made from long chilies, coconut milk, shrimp paste or stockfish, onion, pork, & garlic.

Sinigang:
Sinigang is a Filipino soup or stew characterized by its sour & savoury taste most often associated with tamarind. It is one of the more popular vi&s in Filipino cuisine, & is related to the Malaysian dish singgang.

Sisig:
Sisig is a Filipino dish made from parts of pig head & liver, usually seasoned with calamansi & chili peppers. Sisig was first mentioned in a Kapampangan dictionary in the 17th Century meaning to snack on something sour & salad

Trying Filipino Desserts x Sunset at Mt Tapyas

Today we had the most relaxing day just chilling around Coron. We’ve had such an amazing time in The Philippines and done so much that we just needed a day to relax! We had a walk around Coron Town Proper and ate lunch at Lolo Nonoy’s Food Station, where we ended up trying Filipino desserts. We had Maís Con Hielo (Mais Con Yelo) and Sago At Gulaman which were both interesting, but a bit too sweet for us! Then we went to watch the sunset at Mt Tapyas. It seriously has the most beautiful view in Coron, as well as the most drones we’ve ever seen ???? It’s definitely the most beautiful sunset in Coron with all those stunning orange and purple colours ❤️

Coron is our last stop in The Philippines so we are sad to see our journey here coming to an end but excited to explore the beautiful sites for our last few days in this spectacular country.

#Coron #MtTapyas #Philippines

This is our fourteenth travel vlog from the beautiful Philippines! We've been island hopping all over and have been so lucky to meet such beautiful people. We stayed in Bohol, Apo Island, Moalboal, and El Nido, before moving on to explore Coron for a few days!

We are Jori and Malika, a couple from Australia living in the U.K., and documenting our adventures all around the world. We publish a weekly travel vlog to share with our friends and family, and we'd love for you to come with us ????

We started Beyond Your Doorstep as a way of documenting our travel so that we could look back on it ourselves. We started off posting photos, and then blogging, and now we vlog basically everywhere we go. We know travel is hard, and it's expensive, so we try and keep it as real as possible. Jori works as an engineer and Malika works as a waitress (*it's weird talking in the 3rd person*) ????We live in a little countryside town in England where we work 9-5 most of the year. We live in a tiny studio apartment and try to keep our costs down as much as possible. We travel whenever we can and edit our vlogs at night and on the weekends. It's a pretty huge workload but we love reliving our adventures as we edit and publish our travel vlogs. We may not be the quintessential digital nomad travel couple, but we love this adventure we're on!

We love seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and tasting food from all over the world! Join us on our journey exploring this beautiful planet we all call home!

If you've read this far, thank you so so so much ❤️We hope you subscribe (and hit the bell) to join us on our adventures ❤️

I met up with some friends at Resorts World, Manila to have dinner. Chester, the local Filipino friend, said that we must try Halo Halo - a Filippino dessert.

Both Tuness and myself thought the dessert was rather interesting. There were so many ingredients. It all seemed so random ????.
