Diego Maradona, one of the greatest footballers of all time, died Wednesday at the age of 60, plunging his sport and his native Argentina into mourning. Renowned along with Pele as one of the greatest players ever to play the game, the Argentine World Cup-winning captain died of a heart attack, having undergone brain surgery earlier this month, a member of his entourage told AFP. Maradona will forever be known for his Hand of God goal against England in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final in Mexico, when he appeared to use his hand to push the ball into the net before later swerving through the English defenders for a memorable second goal that sealed victory.

The great footballer Diego Maradona's tribute plane unveiled in Argentina
An aircraft which has been designed as a flying museum and dedicated to Argentine great footballer Diego Maradona was unveiled in Argentina ahead of the FIFA World Cup scheduled to be held in Qatar later this year.
An Argentine fintech company has financed the 12-seater aeroplane named Tango D10S in memory of the late Argentinian footballing legend, who led Argentina to lift the FIFA World Cup back in 1986.
The aircraft features a picture of Maradona kissing the World Cup trophy on the fuselage, with his face on the tail.
The wings feature both of his goals from Argentina’s 2-1 victory over England in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final: the ‘Hand of God’ goal on the left wing and the winner, a goal widely regarded as the greatest of all time, on the right.
I am mad about Maradona, one of those people who still watch videos of Diego before I go to sleep at night, Gaston Kolker, the CEO of fintech company Give and Get, told the media.
The plan is to fly the plane around Argentina and eventually to Qatar for the World Cup in November,2022.Fans will be able to board the aircraft and leave a message for Maradona in the cockpit, ‘interact’ with the late player through artificial intelligence, It will also be available for private hire before being auctioned for charity.
