Wikipedia stuff:
Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the US state of New York. They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge.

From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls lie on the border of the United States and Canada[1] while the American Falls lie entirely on the United States' side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also on the United States' side, separated from the American Falls by Luna Island.

Located on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America that has a vertical drop of more than 50 metres (160 ft). During peak daytime tourist hours, more than 168,000 m3 (six million cubic feet) of water goes over the crest of the falls every minute.[2] Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by flow rate.[3]

The falls are 27 kilometres (17 mi) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York, and 121 kilometres (75 mi) south-southeast of Toronto, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York. Niagara Falls was formed when glaciers receded at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly formed Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment en route to the Atlantic Ocean.

Niagara Falls is famed both for its beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power. Balancing recreational, commercial, and industrial uses has been a challenge for the stewards of the falls since the 19th century.

Niagara Falls | Real 8K

Original content filmed and edited in real 8K resolution.

Niagara Falls State Park is the oldest state park in America, established in 1885 at the Niagara Reservation. Over 8 million visitors explore Niagara Falls State Park annually. During periods of peak flow in the summer and fall, more than 700,000 gallons of water per second pour over Niagara Falls. Four of the five Great Lakes drain into the Niagara River, (Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie) before emptying into Lake Ontario. These five Great Lakes make up almost one-fifth of the world's fresh water supply.

Vancouver to Toronto Canada Road Trip: COMPLETE Drive Timelapse 4K

Driving from Vancouver to Toronto Canada - Complete Road Trip Time Lapse

This drive is on the Trans-Canada Highway and it is one of the most beautiful road trips in the world.

The provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario were travelled through.

The drive was much slower than my Toronto to Vancouver drive due to more sightseeing and stops along the way. It took 12 days and totaled about 4500 kilometers (2800 miles).

In this video, you'll see different landscapes such as the beautiful Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and Alberta, the prairies of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and the Canadian Shield in Ontario.

The route takes us through many Canadian cities/towns: Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Merritt, Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Golden, Radium Hot Springs, Banff, Canmore, Calgary, Medicine Hat, Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Regina, Indian Head, Brandon, Portage la Prairie, Winnipeg, Kenora, Dryden, Thunder Bay, Nipigon, Wawa, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Barrie, Toronto, and many more.

This video took a huge amount of work to create and upload, but it was well worth it in the end and I hope you guys enjoy it!

Quebec City | Real 8K

Original content filmed and edited in 8K resolution.

Quebec City is the capital city of the Canadian province of Quebec. Is also one of the oldest European cities in North America. In the first day of filming we really forgot that we were on an American continent. This city feels so European that we felt like we were filming in France.
With a cliff-top position above the St Lawrence River and captivatingly picturesque old streets, North America’s oldest French-speaking city is a gorgeous, seductive place.

Across North America and Back Again (4K Timelapse Drivelapse)

Edit. Feb 2021. I had to change some of the songs to keep this video viewable.

This is my Timelapse driving across North America. Starting in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Then dropping down into the United States and Washington state. Then driving across the states dropping back into Canada at the Michigan-Ontario Border. Then driving across Ontario into Quebec. I then visited my girlfriend for a few weeks in Montreal. After which I pick up my drive going through the Atlantic Provinces. I turned around in Nova Scotia.

On the driver back, I dropped back into the United States at the Maine Border, then drove through the Midwest. In Cincinnati I made a pit stop for work. After which I head west across the states. Dropping back into Canada at the Washington/BC Border.

I used 3 GoPro's to capture the footage. Editing was completed using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

To jump to a state or province, please see links below.

I do not own the rights to any of these songs. All the songs are connected to the state/province, either the artist is from there or the song is about the state/province.

I do own and retain all rights to all images and video footages. Reuse is allowed with credit (gmore70) and link back to this video.

4K North America Road Trip Timelapse Part IV: Victoria - Kelowna

This is Part IV of a continuous TimeWarp of a road trip that spanned over 15,000 miles. Over the course of two months, we traveled to 19 states, 2 provinces, 1 territory.

We either drove through and/or stopped at 17 different national parks!

It's hard to describe exactly what I was going for with this TimeWarp. The sites like the national parks, towns, and forests are beautiful, even in a Timelapse. The sky is incredible to watch as the clouds morph and the streaks of airplanes whiz by. The road with its unbounded dips and curves is truly enjoyable to watch.

Regardless of what brought you here, I hope you enjoy it.

Methodology:

This is a continuous TimeWarp. There were only two instances in which there are 'true' gaps, but total less than 3 miles of lost road.

Other strange cuts are mostly attributed to not displaying specific homes of friends and family I had visited.

I stopped approximately every hour to change the battery, which I used as a bio / mental break. When I stopped between those battery changes, it was often to clean my windshield of bugs... sorry for missing some lengthy clips with bug guts!

I tried my hardest to avoid the night, because why show a TimeWarp with nothing to see?

Canada is situated in the northern part of the continent of North America. It has the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Arctic Ocean to the north. It is the world's second largest country by area. Both English and French are official languages of Canada. This is indicative of its history as a sought after colony of both English and French powers.

Toronto, is Canada’s most populated city and the country’s financial and commercial center. It is also the capital of the province of Ontario. It is home to the University of Toronto which is a globally well respected post secondary institution.

Toronto is recognized as one of the most multicultural cities in the world bringing together a melting pot of cultures, languages and cuisines. The city is also home to the CN Tower, the tallest tower in the Western Hemisphere.

During the War of 1812, the United States launched an overwhelming ground and naval campaign (via Lake Ontario) on Fort York, which today sits just a few minutes away Downtown Toronto. The ensuing battle is now known as the Battle of York. The war ended with the conclusion of the Treaty of Ghent.

9700 Mile North America Timelapse GoPro

I made this drive from the San Francisco Bay Area, all over the US and Canada, and eventually making it to Central Florida. The trip took 47 days. Make sure to watch in 1080p! This video shows the highlights of the entire trip. I'm also releasing a series of shorter videos that show the drive across the continent in more detail.

Video made with a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition.

The song is Dance Yrself Clean by LCD Soundsystem.
