Nikon Z50 • Street Photography with 4 Lenses!
I go on a Street Photography walk with @davidsaylors and Erwin Davis. I worked with my Nikon Z50 and four lenses. The F mount 50mm f/1.8G, 85 f/1.8G, DX 35 f/1.8G, and the Z mount 50-250. It was a lot of fun working with these two fine gentlemen.

Nikon Z50 Bird Photography 200-500 Lens!
For a change of pace, I used my Nikon Z50 and the Nikkor 200-500 f/5.6 E VR in the blind during this morning of bird photography from my blind/hide. Even though the Z50 does not have bird eye-detect autofocus and its focus system gets lost sometimes, I was still able to bag some really nice shots. This time I photographed Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Carolina Wren, House Finch, White-breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, Northern Cardinal, Brown Thrasher, and Chipping Sparrow!

Nikon Z FC review (and a lap of Bulburin National Park) - is it any good?
I've used the Nikon Z Fc for a few shots in the videos that have been produced so far, but as promised, here's a more in depth look at it. What lens should you use for video? Is the FTZ any good? Can a US$100 TTArtisan 17mm f/1.4 lens really be any good? How would it compare to Kubrick's legendary f/0.7 Zeiss ex-NASA lens?
While answering these questions, we do a lap of Bulburin National Park to test things out. It's a large section of largely untouched subtropical rainforest, but there's not a lot there besides a few camp spots and a nice drive - still making it worth a visit.

Video test on Nikon Z50 AF-S 50mm F1.8G lens FTZ adapter (尼康Z50 FTZ 转接環 AF-S 50mm F1.8G 鏡頭下的視頻測試）
Nikon Z50 with FTZadapter, excellent quality, but low price NIKKOR AF-S lens can be used. Here 50mm F1.8G lens is tested here. One critical thing needs to be tested is the auto-focus capability when AF-S lens is adopted. Here Auto-area focus and Full time AF are two relevant settings for auto-focus functionality. This video is recorded in the most busy area of Hong Kong, Kowloon, although Covid virus is still shadowing Hong Kong. The crowd people and congested cars cause the very challenging scenario for Nikon Z50. Through this study of video testing, you can see the auto-focus capability of Nikon Z50; meanwhile, you can also realize what is computation algorithm behind, so that you can better utilize this auto-focus function, not misusing or abusing this very useful and critical functionality. This video test uses monopod to ease the problem of hand-shaking during video making. Unfortunately hand-shaking problem is still obvious, so post-processing for stabilization by iMovie software is used here. However, at the last part of this video, stabilization of iMovie cannot be adopted since there are a lot of large objects moving abruptly, which will significantly impact the quality of video after post-processing stabilization, so I just leave these clips here without post stabilization processing.
尼康Z50在用了FTZ-mount后，就可以用上質素超好而又便宜的Nikkor AF-S 鏡頭，但要留意的是如果用了AF鏡頭，則沒了自動對焦功能，因為AF鏡頭沒有內置馬達。 這個視頻測試了AF-S 鏡頭的自動對焦能力。視頻拍攝的地方是繁亂的香港九龍鬧市，你可以看到在如此紛雜的環境下，尼康Z50的自動對焦能力的表現。因為尼康Z50沒有內置有力的防手震裝置，而這支測試的尼康AF-S鏡頭也沒有內置防震，所以我用了單腳架，但發現還是震得厲害，所以事后我又用了iMovie 軟體里的防震修正功能，可惜的是視頻后半截用不了這個軟件功能，因為對视頻質素影響很大，所以這個視頻的后半截就不做防震修正了。

10 Minutes of Relaxing POV Street Photography | Manila | 35mm 1.8 Nikon Z50
My first POV street photography upload. As for my gear, I'm using my newly acquired Nikon Z50 and a 35mm 1.8 from Nikon as well. I am currently using an FTZ II mount in order to use the F mount lens on the new camera.
As for the experience and actual shoot, I did this photo walk after my work as a means to just get back out there shooting. Due to the pandemic, mobility and safety was a big issue for me. However, now that the restrictions are all easing up - it's a great opportunity for me to get back to shooting.
This time, I decided to do a POV which is greatly inspired by Youtubers like: North Borders | 7th Era | Kohki | Pierre Lambert as so many more! During the pandemic all I did was watch youtubers like them and it really pushed me to try it as well once I am able to go out.
So here it is, my first shot at POV Street Photography. Pardon my GoPro footage if shaky - I just recently acquired a proper clip/mount that I can use. You can expect better videos in the future. Please do take advantage of the comment section to let me know what you think - what to improve / what I can do better / tips / any other comments.

Nikon Z50 Timelapse of the Milky Way setting in the western sky. Shot at Ballandean, with the silhouette of the Ballandean Pyramid in the foreground. Shot using my Nikon Z50 fitted with a Nisi 9mm lense, using a Miops 360 Capsule rotator. Sudden movement at the end was from incorrect setting entered into the rotator.
Z50 X-T3 • Savage Falls Photography Hike!
Heather and I hike the 3 mile out and back trail to Savage Falls. I made photos with the Fujifilm X-T3 and Heather used the Nikon Z50. We both used third party ultra-wide lenses. I used the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 lens for Nikon F adapted to the X-T3. Heather used the Tamron 10-24 for Nikon F adapted to the Z50 with the FTZ adaptor. It was a tough hike for us but the photos were worth it!
