The beauty of Southern Greenland
This is the stunning scenery from around Southern Greenland - Narsarsuaq, Nanortalik, Alluitsup Paa and Tasermiut Fjord.
The landscape around the south of Greenland is truly epic. Narsarsuaq is a tiny village surrounded by glaciers and mountains. We took a 25-mile round hike, including a bit of scrambling, to see the Narsarsuaq Glacier and the incredible Qooroq Fjord. The views are awesome.
Flying from Narsarsuaq to Nanortalik was like a private helicopter tour. On one side was scenery which looked like the Scottish Highlands, and on the other side massive, jagged-peak mountains.
The village of Nanortalik is on an island with awesome views and icebergs, and also provides a gateway to Tasermiut Fjord. On that morning, the clouds cleared as we sailed further up the fjord to the most scenic spot I have ever visited - mountains, glaciers, valleys, whales, musk ox, ice bergs.
Finally, Alluitsup Paa. Many parts of Greenland are peaceful but Alluitsup Paa, again with breathtaking surroundings, is the most tranquil, relaxing place I have ever been fortunate enough to visit. The silence is beautiful.

Grenlandia, 14-dniowy trekking w dziczy. Tasermiut Fjord to prawdopodobnie najlepsza i najpiękniejsza trasa trekkingowa na Grenlandii. Widokami i trasą nokautuje słynny Arctic Circle Trail (ACT), który wbrew pozorom wcale nie jest tak ekscytujący.
Rejs statkiem pomiędzy górami lodowymi, malowniczy lot śmigłowcem i dwa tygodnie w kompletnej dziczy, w otoczeniu dziewiczej grenlandzkiej natury. Namioty, ograniczone zapasy, trudny szlak i zmienna pogoda. To wszystko sprawiło, że trekking w Tasermiut Fjord to niezapomniana przygoda.
Na Grenlandii pewnie da się znaleźć miejsca piękniejsze niż Tasermiut Fjord, ale tylko ten obszar jest w miarę dostępny i umożliwia trekking przez kilka, a nawet kilkanaście dni.

Greenland, 14-day wilderness trekking. Tasermiut Fjord is probably the best and most beautiful trekking route in Greenland. The views and the route are knocking out famous Arctic Circle Trail (ACT), which, after all is not so exciting.
Boat trip between the icebergs, scenic helicopter flight and two weeks in complete wilderness, surrounded by unspoiled Greenland's nature. Camping in tents, very limited supplies, rough trail, extreme conditions and unpredictable weather. All this made trekking in Tasermiut Fjord an unforgettable adventure.
You can probably find more beautiful places in Greenland, but only Tasermiut Fjord area is relatively accessible and allows trekking for a few or even several days.

The Arctic is home to a wide variety of animals - from polar bears to Arctic foxes, muskoxen, walruses, whales, reindeer, and many other species. Our expedition leader Christian Bruttel will unveil the world of Arctic wildlife, including common myths and the real stories behind them.
Originally from the south of Germany, Christian moved to the High Arctic community of Longyearbyen, Svalbard in 2012. Since then, he has worked throughout the Arctic and Antarctica as an adventure guide and expedition leader.
