The Beauty of Guilin | Southern China (4K)
It was a long dream of mine to visit this unique area around Guilin, Yangshou and Xingping in Asia. To be honest, it was on the very top of my bucket list. Now I finally made it to this picturesque landscape in the south of China and I should not be disappointed.
The karst peaks of Southern China are one of my favorite landscapes. But also capturing the Kormorant fishing on Li river, as it used to be centuries ago, was a big highlight. It was an absolute pleasure to shoot with Mr. Huang Gao Hui, one of the famous fishermen in Xingping. I was able to document a tradition that is unfortunately dying out, like many others, due to the increase of tourism in our ever developing world. The fact is, this man now earns far more through tourism that he would have done catching and selling fish locally.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Wulingyuan) is one of the most stunning and unique nature views in the world. Enormously tall pillars (more than 200m) spreading over a huge area. This can’t be seen anywhere else. They are amazing as viewed from vista points. Yet the real awe is seeing the views while flying over them – with a drone. I captured with my drone (4K) views from angles never seen before! Exclusive footage not available anywhere else!
Zhangjiajie inspired the floating mountains” of Avatar the movie. It is one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

A high altitude valley (about 3,000m above sea level) which WAS one of the most overwhelming nature wonders of China, with a great wide waterfall (over 300m) and emerald colorful lakes. Regretfully, it was destroyed by an earthquake in Aug 2017. This video captured it BEFORE it was destroyed - and is now dedicated to the memory of a wonderful place gone.

Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan???????? China's Most Amazing Landscape (4K UHD)
Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is located in Jiuzhaigou County (formerly Nanping County), Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and is famous for its fairy tale world. It is named Jiuzhaigou because there are nine Tibetan villages in the surrounding mountains. This area is a nature reserve and a national scenic spot, with a maximum altitude of about 4,800 meters. There are lakes, waterfalls, snow-capped mountains and forests in the area. The scenery is unique, especially in autumn when the leaves change and the forest looks more colorful and colorful Beautiful. Jiuruo Road passes through 3 townships of Banyou, Qiuji and Baxi in Reergai County (Also known as Zoige or Ruoergai) of Sichuan Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. The total length of the territory is 62 kilometers, and the roadbed width is 7.5 meters. Jiuzhaigou is located in Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in the southern section of the Minshan Mountains in northwestern Sichuan Province, on the northeast side of Gongganling in the southern section of Minshan. It is more than 400 kilometers away from Chengdu. Geographical coordinates are 100˚30΄-104˚27΄ east longitude (E) and 30˚35΄-34˚19΄ north latitude (N). It is a large branch ditch at the source of the Baishui River in the upper reaches of the Jialing River in the Yangtze River system, with a drainage area of 651.34km.
