Morne Trois Pitons National Park is a national park in Dominica established in July 1975, the first to be legally established in the country. It became a World Heritage Site in 1997. The park is named after its highest mountain, Morne Trois Pitons, meaning mountain of three peaks. The park is an area of significant volcanic activity.

Two spectacular waterfalls, Mother and Father, which you can climb around and have their rainbow encircle you.
One is hot - coming from the boiling lake, the other cold! Big Mama is on the right and Big Papa is on the left.
On the short walk to the base of the falls, you pass many hot mineral springs to bath!

Au cœur de la forêt tropical, ce petit morceau de paradis est accessible en moins de dix minutes. Comptez 5$ US (13.5 E.C) l'entrée, par personne. Notez que parfois il n'y a personne à l'accueil et donc l'accès est gratuit.

Boiling Lake, located in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, Dominica
Lake Boiling Lake, located in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, Dominica. The lake is filled with water bubbles blue-gray that usually shrouded in clouds of steam, making it look like a boiling lake.
The lake temperature ranged from 82 to 91.5 degrees Celsius along the edges. Middle of the lake is estimated temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius, or the boiling point. Depth of the lake is predicted to reach 59 meters. Very dangerous to dive this lake, because you can die terebus.
There is no direct way to get to the lake. The lake is about 13 kilometers hike to the lake from the nearest road, past the sulfur springs, over mountains and through canyons along the way.
This lake is the second largest hot spring in the world. The largest is Frying Pan Lake, located in the Valley Waimangu near Rotorua, New Zealand.
