Montenegro Drone Flight: Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi. Durmitor National Park, home to bears and wolves, encompasses limestone peaks, glacial lakes and 1,300m-deep Tara River Canyon. Budva is a lively beach town, with luxury yachts in the harbor and a party vibe in the old town center. Nearby is Sveti Stefan, a 15th-century island town turned high-end resort connected to the mainland by just a thin causeway. Inland, the 17th-century Ostrog Monastery is wedged into a vertical cliff face. Vast Lake Skadar, which borders Albania, is an important bird reserve. Montenegros honorary capital, Cetinje, features Orthodox churches and palaces, while the official capital, Podgorica, has more modern Turkish, Eastern Bloc and European architecture. We have been tempted to visit Balkan states for a long time, and therefore at the end of May we traveled one month around Montenegro. This country becames more and more popular each year and it definitely worth to visit. Its a land of beauty which enchats you with big mountains, deepest canyons, crystal clear riviers, historical cities and beautiful beaches. We visited lake Piva, national park Durmitor, deepest canyon in Europe called Tara (we also tested superfast zipline, which was awesome), national park Prokletije, Skadar lake, river Črnojevica, beatiful city of Budva and Kotor and we wildcamp above Kotor bay. Už dlho nás lákalo navštíviť balkánske krajiny, a preto sme sa aj koncom mája vybrali na mesačný trip po prekrásnej Čiernej Hore. Táto krajina sa stáva čím ďalej viac a viac populárnou a niet sa tomu prečo diviť. Je to nádherná krajina ktorá vás očarí obrovskými horami, najhlbšími kaňonmi, kryštálovo čistými riekami, historickými mestečkami a krásnymi plážami. Navštivili sme jazero Piva, národný park Durmitor, najhlbší kaňon európy Tara (kde sme sa aj spustili na extrémne rýchlej zipline), národný park Prokletije, Skadarské jazero, rieku Črnojevica, krásne mestečko Budva, Kotor a stanovali sme nad Bokou Kotorskou. About Kotor: Kotor (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Котор, pronounced kɔ̌tɔr; Italian: Cattaro) is a coastal town in Montenegro, in the region of Dalmatia. It is located in a secluded part of the Bay of Kotor. The city has a population of 13,510 and is the administrative center of Kotor Municipality. The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. It is located on the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea. Some have called it the southernmost fjord in Europe, but it is a ria, a submerged river canyon. Together with the nearly overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Lovćen, Kotor and its surrounding area form an impressive landscape. About Montenegro: Montenegro is a country in southeast Europe on the Adriatic coast of the Balkans. It borders Bosnia and Herzegovina to the north, Serbia to the east, Albania to the southeast, the Adriatic Sea and Croatia to the west. The largest and capital city is Podgorica while Cetinje has the status of old royal capital. During the Early Medieval period, three principalities were located on the territory of modern-day Montenegro: Duklja, roughly corresponding to the southern half; Travunia, the west; and Rascia proper, the north. The Principality of Zeta emerged in the 14th and 15th centuries. The name Montenegro was first used to refer to the country in the late 15th century. After falling under Ottoman rule, Montenegro regained its independence in 1696 under the rule of the House of Petrović-Njegoš, first as a theocracy and later as a secular principality. Montenegros independence was recognized by the Great Powers at the Congress of Berlin in 1878. In 1910, the country became a kingdom. After World War I, it became part of Yugoslavia. A video of my 10-day trip to Montenegro in July 2019. We traveled around the country by scooter, which contributed a lot to the variety of sites filmed for this video. These locations include Kotor, Buljarica, Lake Skadar, Sveti Stefan, Jezerski mountain, Perast, Zanjice, Tvrdava Fortress eg.

Montenegro Drone Flight: Montenegro (/ˌmɒntɪˈneɪɡroʊ, -ˈniːɡroʊ, -ˈnɛɡroʊ/ ; Montenegrin: Црна Гора / Crna Gora [tsr̩̂ːnaː ɡɔ̌ra]) is a country in Southeast Europe on the Adriatic Sea. It borders Bosnia and Herzegovina to the northwest; Serbia and Kosovo to the east, Albania to the south and Croatia to the southwest. Montenegro has an area of 13,812 square kilometres and a population of 620,079 (2011 census). Its capital Podgorica is one of the twenty-three municipalities in the country. Cetinje is designated as the Old Royal Capital. // Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi. Durmitor National Park, home to bears and wolves, encompasses limestone peaks, glacial lakes and 1,300m-deep Tara River Canyon. Budva is a lively beach town, with luxury yachts in the harbor and a party vibe in the old town center. Nearby is Sveti Stefan, a 15th-century island town turned high-end resort connected to the mainland by just a thin causeway. Inland, the 17th-century Ostrog Monastery is wedged into a vertical cliff face. Vast Lake Skadar, which borders Albania, is an important bird reserve. Montenegros honorary capital, Cetinje, features Orthodox churches and palaces, while the official capital, Podgorica, has more modern Turkish, Eastern Bloc and European architecture.
