Wildlife of Guyana Webinar

How to make the most of your trip to Guyana? The easiest answer is to ‘Visit the Rupununi’. While the North Rupununi offers community-led and owned lodges set against a pristine rainforest backdrop, the South Rupununi is among the golden savannahs of Guyana.

The South Rupununi is known for its ranching accommodations and experiences. So saddle up and get ready for one epic adventure.

Maparri Wilderness Camp in the Kanuku Mountains of Guyana

A tour of Maparri riverside camp in the pristine rainforest of the remote Kanuku Mountains, southern Guyana, South America. Featuring Catherine, Emlita & Kenneth. I was lucky to stay here for 3 nights in late November, 2012. Memories include Harpy Eagle, Goliath Bird-eating Spider, giant stick insects, bathing in a natural jacuzzi while kingfishers and huge stunning Blue Morpho butterflies flew by. If you enjoy wilderness, this is a fantastic experience.
