I arrived in Malaysia and went straight for the food. Jalan Alor is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, and is full of hawker stalls that sell a variety of culinary delights from dumplings to many types of durian!

Jalan Alor (Malay: Jalan Alor), located in the western part of Bukit Batang, is the most famous tourist food street in Kuala Lumpur. The street brings together more than 20 restaurants and over 200 stalls selling traditional Malaysian Chinese and Cantonese cuisine, attracting a large number of tourists because it is within the Bukit Batang shopping district. Many tourists come to Jalan Alor Food Street in search of roasted chicken wings, grilled stingray, fried kuey teow, satay and Hokkien fried noodles, etc. Although the price is a bit higher compared to other food centers or food streets, it does not dampen the tourists' interest.
The tourists from all over the world crowd the roadside seats to eat and drink, and this has become one of the most unique features of Alor Street, because every night it is crowded with people, and in addition to the stalls in the cafeteria, there are also some roadside stalls selling Malay skewers, baklava, fried goods, fruits and dried meat. Most of the stores on Alor Street are open 24 hours a day, but the stalls are usually open from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am. In addition to restaurants and tea food, Alor Street is also home to many cheap guesthouses and hotels, and many tourists move to the next stall in Changkat Bukit Bintang after dining here.

BBQ Lamb KL - Food Review
Today, we had our unique lunch in a hidden forest. It was a truly mesmerizing dining experience in this restaurant.
BBQ Lamb KL Kemensah, located in Kampung Kemensah, Selangor. This is a restaurant feature nature and grill food.
The specialty of this restaurant is dining in the river with both feet soak in water. What a fantastic place to stay connected with nature while having lunch.
In term of food, this restaurant serves authentic smoke lamb and grill beef, chicken, duck and etc with nasi briyani. It tasted really good. However, the food was served cold and the portion was rather small. Credit to nasi briyani, it looks simple but the herbs and raisin integrated perfectly and creating a pleasant aroma.
In term of the environment, this was one of the best places by far. Not only can enjoy the food but also able to connect with nature listen to whisper of the forest, feel the current of river flow, and breathing in the pure clean air. Besides, a mini swimming pool is also available here.
In term of the price, we made our reservation in advance and we spent RM 120 for 4 pax. We ordered lamb, duck, and beef as our lunch. Personally, the portion of the food was relatively small and it doesn't match the price. I would say the price is for the environment.
In term of safety, elderly and kids might need extra care and bring extra clothing if dining in the river. The river current is very strong and walking on the slippery stone might cause you to lose balance. However, the indoor dining area is available.
In term of location, it's in a rural area. The parking lot is limited and the road is narrow. Taking a small vehicle to this restaurant is advisable.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to you if you wanted to have an extraordinary dining experience.
