The full Tuen Ma Line (“TML”) has entered the final stage of trial operations. To prepare for the full line commencement, we will be simulating train operations according to the full TML timetable and conducting full line train tests during non-service hours.

As of our travel date (FEB 9-13 2023) vaccinated travellers are allowed entry WITHOUT RAT upon arrival/pre-departure, however according to the Hk government, a self administered RAT before entry is recommended but not obligatory for submission to their website. We self administered a RAT the night before our trip and took a photo of the negative results on our phones incase of a random inspection in Hong Kong. However, no inspection occurred and no one asked for our Vaccine Certificates, but we recommend that you take self precautionary methods for yours and everybody else's safety.

A brief look at and ride on one of the fully automated, driverless distinctive British-built trains on the Hong Kong MTR 'Disneyland Resort Line' which links Sunny Bay MTR station with the Disneyland resort on Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
DISNEYLAND TRAIN / EASIEST WAY TO GO TO HONGKONG DISNEYLAND RESORT
Trains run from Sunny Bay Station to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and back daily, from early in the morning until late at night. Trains will arrive frequently, typically running every few minutes or so.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is only a 30-minute ride from the following MTR stations:
Hong Kong International Airport MTR Station (Transfer at Tsing Yi Station and transfer to Sunny Bay Station)

Hong Kong Disneyland - Disneyland Resort Line Arrival at Sunny Bay Station HD (2015)
The Disneyland Resort Line is a heavy rail MTR line connecting Sunny Bay to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, coloured pink on the network diagram. It is the seventh line of the former MTR network before the merger of MTR and KCR, and the world's first metro line designed to service a Disney theme park. There are only two stations on this line, Sunny Bay and Disneyland Resort. Sunny Bay station is an interchange station with the Tung Chung Line between Tsing Yi and Tung Chung stations.
The rail link was completed in April 2005. In preparation for the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland theme park on 12 September, the line started operating on 1 August 2005. The rolling stock is distinctive (see also below) on account of its Mickey Mouse windows, interior couch seating, and Disneyland figurines displayed in the carriages.
On 4 September 2005, Disneyland Resort Line served nearly 40,000 passengers and peak patronage occurs around 0800-1000 and 2100–2300 hours.

How to get there?
It takes around 45 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui to Disneyland and you will be boarding three different trains.
-Take the Tsuen Wan MTR train towards Tsuen Wan.
-Get off at Lai King Station.
-Transfer to Tung Chung line. The train should be Tung Chung-bound.
-Alight at Sunny Bay Station.
-Transfer to Disneyland Resort Line.
