My Overnight Journey from London Euston to Fort William on the Caledonian Sleeper
Good bits and bad bits, I'm going to give you the FULL experience in this video! Starting at London's ugliest station - Euston, we'll be trying the new Caledonian Sleeper lounge on platform 1 before boarding the Highlander service that takes us up to the west coast of Scotland all the way to Fort William on the sleepers longest trip. We'll take dinner in the lounge car and I'll show you the club room before heading to bed for the night.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that arose and became worse by morning! But breakfast did make an appearance (sort of) and I'll be interested to know what you thought of that! We'll enjoy some fantastic scenery over Rannoch Moor, Corrour and beyond before arriving at Fort William where I'll be summarising the experience and, of course, telling you how much it all cost.
You may be surprised by how much I paid but, was it worth it? Again, please let me know in the comments.

Let's Take a Trip to Miyajima (宮島) aka Itsukushima (厳島)
Miyajima (宮島), officially known as Itsukushima (厳島), is a small island with towering mountains, the floating Itsukushima Shrine, and the great floating torii gate to welcome its visitors. Historically referred to as the Island of Gods, this enchanting island is less than an hour outside of Hiroshima City. Having traveled to the island many times in the past and even hiking to the top of the sacred Mt. Misen, it is easy to understand why it is ranked as one of Japan’s three best views.
While officially named Itsukushima, the island is more commonly referred to as Miyajima, literally the “shrine island.” Surviving many disasters since the 6th century, Itsukushima Shrine can be credited for influencing the island’s adopted name. During high tide, the shrine and its great torii gate are given the grand illusion of floating on water. When the tide rolls out tourists can roll in and get up close in personal with both the magnificent torii gate and the shrine it’s supposed to be protecting.
Itsukushima Shrine is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Japanese government has designated several buildings and possessions as National Treasures. Also housed in the island’s Omotesando Arcade is Oshakushi, the world’s largest rice paddle weighing in at a hefty 2.5 tons. The island is also famous for the many wild deer that approach tourists seeking food, as well as its momiji manju and oysters.

Oban to the Isle of Coll with Caledonian MacBrayne. A Memorable Experience!
This week guys, I’m taking you on this fantastic ferry trip from Oban to the Isle of Coll with Caledonia MacBrayne and their classic ferry: MV Lord of the Isles - one of the largest ferries in their fleet.
We’ll start off in the terminal at Oban andafter boarding, watch our beautiful departure out of Oban and onwards north through the Sound of Mull. I’ll show you inside the ship, her facilities, the deck space outside and sme of the most fs tastic scenery in the whole of the British Isles.
Once we get to Coll, we’ve got time to look around for a couple of hours as the ship moves on to Tiree before heading back and picking me up. It’s another 3 hours back making this a pretty-full day out. But ill trll you how much it costs and i hope you’ll agree, it’s certainly worth the money.
