Filip Kulisev strives to find and photograph the most wonderful and unique sites of our planet for the benefit of all nature lovers in Slovakia and around the world. Through his photographs he has raised awareness of issues related to biodiversity and natural resources.Filip Kulisev, Master QEP, FBIPP has provided material for more than 200 individual exhibitions in Slovakia and around the world. In 2013, he was selected for the “International Masters of Photography“ project in Las Vegas which featured the top ranking photographers of the world. He is the only Slovak to receive such an honor. He has been awarded various international certifications, including the Master QEP title, which is the highest European award for professional photographers. Kulisev became the first photographer from Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded the highest qualification and title of Fellow from the British Institute of Professional Photographers in London. The Iconic Photography Spots of The Faroe Islands
Today on the vlog we went to some Iconic Landscape photography spots in The Faroe Islands.

There are lots of iconic photo spots on The Faroe Islands. In fact, within a 10 minute drive of the airport, you can find about 4 shots that are absolute classics. Some of the best photography locations anywhere in the world are all within a short trip. And sure, this photo trip to the Faroes is meant to be about location scouting and finding new locations. But, we can't help but stop and photograph the iconic photo spots.
On today's photography vlog, I took the participants of my workshop to some of the most iconic spots to sort of get them out of the way. If you capture the classic images right away, you're not so worried about being sure you get those images later on It takes a lot of weight off your shoulder.
So, as this Faroe Islands photography vlog series continues, look for fewer of these iconic photo locations, and more hidden gems we find along the way.

Landscape Photography Location Scouting in The Faroe Islands
Today on the photography vlog, we're location scouting for landscape photography in The Faroe Islands.

A lot of landscape photography comes down to location scouting. It's easy to take the picture. But, what lots of people don't realize is that finding that location alone takes a lot of time and effort. And, today we went to full effort in The Faroe Islands.
It should also be noted that today's landscape photography is so different than it was years ago thanks to social media and the internet. Now, we can rely on others to help find places. However, in new destination like The Faroe Islands, there's still so much time and planning that goes into landscape photography location scouting.

Landscape Photography GUIDE to The Faroe Islands - Kalsoy
Kalsoy is an amazing place in the Faroe Islands for landscape photography. You need to go with a small ferry from Klaksvik to get to Kalsoy, but besides that, it's rather easy to find your way around Kalsoy.

GORGEOUS light at Bordoy | Landscape Photography Faroe Islands | 4K
Bordoy is the largest island in the northern isles of the Faroe Islands. In this landscape photography guide, I will show two beautiful locations from Bordoy. One is called Árnafjørður and the other is a hike above the town Klaksvik called Klakkur. I also got to fly my drone and it all turned out very epic!

Vágar Island | Attraction
Home to the only airport in the unspoiled Faroe Islands, Vágar Island is the port of arrival for all travellers flying in the the archipelago. More than anything, Vágar Island holds many of the most amazing nature attractions in the island group. From famous Múlafossur Waterfall to the renowned Trælanípa cliff.

It's actually an understatement to say Sandoy is epic, but this underappreciated island in Faroes has one of the most fascinating coastlines in the entire Faroe Islands. Here I get to play around with the 70-200 tele lens and my drone. I also visit a nice little house. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it!

Exploring Faroe Islands - Vagar
Faroe Islands is one of the most unique and remote destinations on the world and an amazing place for landscape photography. We visited Faroes for a week in August and in this video series I invite you to join us on our journey across the islands. We start with the island of Vagar. Vagar is where the airport is located and as such is going to be the first taste of Faroes for most people.

EPIC Landscape Photography hike to Mýlingur | Faroe Islands | 4K
Mýlingur is an epic mountain in the northern part of the Faroe Islands. In this video, I share my story from the hike and the landscape photography experience I had on one of the most remote and epic locations in the Faroes! Be warned, this hike is for experienced hikers only. It can be very dangerous and I urge you to follow the advice I give in the video. I also got to fly my drone (DJI Mavic pro platinum) and have included an epic sequence of drone video.
