We Did NOT EXPECT this in Kingstown | St. Vincent and The Grenadines | Travel Vlog 2021

We love watching sleeping towns/cities wake up. We would arrive early, watch businesses open, eat, shop, and just watch how everyday living unfolds. This is the first time we’ve decided to film it. We did not expect little Kingstown to get so busy so fast. Let us know what you think. Do you find it as interesting as we do?

Part 4 - Sea Day & St Vincent and the Grenadines - New Year 2023 Caribbean Cruise - P&O Britannia

Days 6 & 7 – Sea day and St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Not much you can say for the second sea day – some quizzes were done, listened to the lecture in the theatre – obviously the buffet was well represented, spending an hour or more in the gym and some time in the sun.
As usual with P&O the sea day was also formal night – or in this case Celebration Night. On this occasion P&O had brought back the (free) champagne in the atrium and the speech from the captain. The remainder of the evening was spent eating and spending a few hours drinking and chatting to fellow guests in Brodie’s.

St Vincent and the Grenadines

For two of us we had pre-booked a P&O shore excursion for a ferry transfer across to the island of Bequia – a tropical paradise around a 45-minute ferry ride from the main island of St Vincent. This was intended to be a pure beach day on a tropical island. As this didn’t suit all of us we also had one representative on another P&O excursion of dolphin spotting out at sea.

The ferry trip across to Bequia was bumpy to say the least – long gone is the stabilisation of a cruise ship and you are again rocking away on the Caribbean Sea – however no illness was suffered. We had been advised by the guides of the two beaches we may want to consider – either Lower Bay Beech or Princess Margaret’s Beech. Both options required a taxi ride – and on reflection of the bars and restaurants on offer we opted for Lower Bay Beech – essentially as there is more than one bar on the beech and so service would be quicker.

The taxi ride to the beech is around $10 – however this was for a return, and this was arranged for a pre-determined time to ensure we were back at the dock to catch the ferry back.

The beech itself was that Caribbean paradise – white sands, gentle blue sea, fish and coral under the sea and just a handful of people on the beach. We hired a couple of loungers for $8 each for the day and just spent the day in the sun, on the sand and in the sea drinking rum punch and pina coladas.
Once or time was up and we were back on the ferry after being picked up by the taxi bang on time – we now had the 45-minute return journey back across to the ship. However, this time the journey was made way more interesting by what seemed to be an endless supply or rum punch. Now those big waves, the rocking and rolling of the ship was so much more fun with everyone seemingly having a good time on the crossing. And once back in port it was evident everyone there was also having a great time as a live band was one complete with conga lines going around the port area.
Evening time was not something I remember too well. Dinner again in the Oriental restaurant and then it was probably a few drinks – one thing that was becoming apparent was that after around 9.30pm the ship started to fall asleep. I compared the main atrium after 10pm on Britannia with that of Sky Princess – the cruise we did before which is essentially the same ship design under the skin – Sky Princess have far more life after 10pm than Britannia could muster after the New Years Eve party. This is where it was damning on us that it was a lifeless ship – just people sat around drinking and more drinking – which I’m OK with, but it becomes dull over 14 nights.

We Found Paradise in St. Vincent and the Grenadines | Union Island

#Wefoundparadise #Unionisland #mopionisland #stvincent #Stvincentandthegrenadines

Just want to inform you We Found Paradise in St. Vincent and the Grenadines | Union Island.

That’s right, we are still Island hopping and having a blast. In the last video, we visit the tiny Island of Mayreau where only 300 people live. Now we are visiting Union Island. We go on a boat tour to visit Mopion Island. It’s the most beautiful place. The island just houses an umbrella in the middle of it. We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pristine waters. We even enjoyed a delicious lunch. After 3 hours of hanging out at Mopion Island, we left. Our next stop was Petit St. Vincent, and we passed Palm Island. Before heading back to Union Island, we stopped by Happy Island for a drink. We had a smoothie and met the owner of happy Island. What an unforgettable day!!

Hope you enjoyed Island hopping with us!

► WHO WE ARE?

We are Gladys & Kenny, from Long Island, NY. We've always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018 we downsized and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream, to travel full time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until it prepared us for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently did so with vlogs on YouTube and Social Media.
Join us. It's been one crazy ride so far.

► WHO WE ARE?

Hi, we’re Gladys and Kenny; we always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In 2019, we sold everything and left to travel the world full-time. It wasn’t a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once, and we didn’t want to live with any regrets.

We have been traveling for the past 4 years. Our mission is to visit 100 Bucket List Destinations by 2025 and to share these moments through videos that inspire you to live your dream, whatever it may be, and offer a little nature, adventure, and humor along the way.

We hope to inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and follow your dreams. Join us on this epic journey as we uncover some of the best Bucket List Destinations.

If you find what we create entertaining, helpful, or inspirational, and you want to keep it going, we’d be happier than a pig in mud for your support. THANK YOU❤️ for helping us pursue our dreams. Now get out there and love the life you live!
