SPICY CHIPOTLE PINEAPPLE MARTINI
Spice up your Happy Hour with this favorite from Carnival Cruise Line's Alchemy Bar! Want to make this one into a mocktail- just omit the vodka!
SERVES: 1
Ingredients:
2 ounces vodka, flavored with jalapeños (jalapenos optional)
1 ounce chipotle pineapple syrup
1 ounce pineapple juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
6-8 mint leaves
Instructions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add the vodka, chipotle pineapple syrup, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and mint leaves (Reserve one leaf for garnish.).
Shake vigorously.
Strain into a martini glass.
To garnish, smack the reserved mint leaf between your palms, and float it on top of the cocktail.

It's time to ask that age old question; how does an All Inclusive Resort stack up against a Cruise? Yes, it's Cruise vs All Inclusive. And you may expect since we are a cruise channel that we have a bias, but that is not necessarily true. There are good things about both, and we love hitting the all inclusive resorts. Beach time, sun and fun in the sand. It's good stuff, but how do you decide which is right for you? In this video we are going to going over a handful of key things to consider when thinking about an all inclusive resort vs a cruise. Here's a spoiler for you. In the end, it's all always an easy choice. You may have to look at little deciding factors to help you make a final decision. For us it often comes down to the best overall value once all expenses have been considered. Let us know what you think, and if you feel one other the other is better for you.

Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Vlog - Day 3
Hey Cruisers, It's day 3 of our Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera Cruise, and we're heading out for an awesome Carnival excursion in Cabo. If you are researching cruises for yourself, please remember our wonderful sponsor:
We start the day off bright and early with a fresh hot cup of coffee and a look at the retractable roof over the pool area. Splendor takes advantage of the retractable roof, and I think it enhances the cruise experience. We've got big activities planned for this day with Carnival's own Aqua Trio Adventure excursion. It's a day filled with beautiful ocean scenery, powered water snorkel scooters, kayaking, and standup paddle boarding. Cabo is a tender port, and we were happy to see Splendor taking advantage of Cabo's own tender service. I prefer Cabo Tenders because they are more open, and don't feel quite as stuffy as the ship's tenders. In port security checks meant long lines, but it actually went quite quickly. After a short wait, we were off on our adventure. Our guide took us on a little detour for some bonus whale watching. If you look carefully you'll see the whale we spotted. The first part of the Aqua Trio Adventure was snorkel scooter, and I've gotta say these were super fun. We were a little worried it would be too much for our son, and weren't sure he'd like it. You'll see his reaction in the video. Kayaking was relatively relaxing, and we all enjoyed the family time together. The standup paddle boarding was more of a workout than I expected, but hey, gotta work off the buffet some time, right? We round out this Carnival Splendor Mexican Riviera vlog with a look at our dining room experience ... and a little dancing.

We're cruising on the maiden voyage of the brand new ship from Carnival Cruise Line... Mardi Gras, sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida! We sailed from July 31 to August 14, 2021 on back-to-back cruises with stops in San Juan, Amber Cove, Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay. This sailing was 95% vaccinated (see our separate protocols video for more information on that) with basically no mask requirements indoors our outdoors, no social distancing, and self-serve buffets. Let's do this thing!
