Nick van Dutch shares some amazing drone 4k footage from his recent trip to the beautiful Koh Larn, a small Thai island off the coast of Pattaya, in the Gulf of Thailand. It’s known for its beaches, set against a backdrop of wooded hills. In the north, Ta Waen Beach is dotted with restaurants and shops. A large, stingray-shaped building dominates Samae Beach’s north end. The beach is famed for its clear water and sunset views. Small monkeys inhabit the hills around coral-ringed Nual Beach, in the south.

Koh Larn is pronounced as ''Ko Lan''. Koh Larn is an island that is located 7.5 km from Pattaya. It is a small island that is 4 km long and 2 km wide.
Tawaen Beach is the most popular and most visited beach of Koh Larn. Tawaen Beach is considered as the best beach of Koh Larn. Tawaen Beach has a beautiful white sand beach and a calm and crystal clear blue sea. At Tawaen Beach there are a lot of activities to do: swimming, sunbathing, eating fresh seafood, swimming, parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat riding, and fishing. Near Tawaen Beach and everywhere in Koh Larn there are a lot of hotels, restaurants, and tourist shops.
Tawaen Beach is located at the north side of Koh Larn island. Tawaen Beach is about 800 meters long. The Tawaen beach pier is located at the west side of Tawaen Beach. The Tawaen Beach Pier is one of the two arrival points for the ferry boat from Pattaya to Koh Larn and one of the two departure points for the ferry boat from Koh Larn to Pattaya.
Tawaen Beach is located on the island Koh Larn (Coral Island) in the Chonburi province in Thailand.

Pattaya is a city in Thailand. It is on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 100 kilometres southeast of Bangkok, within, but not part of, Bang Lamung District in the province of Chonburi. Pattaya City is a self-governing municipal area which covers Tambon's Nong Prue and Na Klua and parts of Huai Yai and Nong Pla Lai. The city is in the industrial Eastern Seaboard zone, along with Si Racha, Laem Chabang, and Chonburi. The Sanctuary of Truth is an amazing museum that is still 'under construction' today. All elements of the museum were crafted by hand and only wood was used in its construction. The cost to access was approx $15 USD.

Koh Larn Thailand 2022 | Amazing Views by Drone
Koh Larn, Ko Lan, Koh Lan.... however it is spelled it doesn't matter, what matters is that this tiny gorgeous island is the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya, and trust me you will seek some relaxing moments when you are here.
Koh Larn offers amazing beaches with crystal clear waters and is located just a 45 min trip by ferry from Pattaya or 20 min by speed boat, making it the perfect spot for a day trip. On the island, one can find plenty of restaurants, cafes, and hotels if you wish to stay overnight. If you have never been to Koh Larn island before have a glance at the amazing views we captured by drone.

This video was made in Koh Larn ( coral island ) Thailand with the Phantom 3 professional 4k camera .
See the coral island from an different view , 500 meter maximum altitude with the phantom 3 pro .
The upwind was very strong , so the video is a little bit shaky sometimes .
Koh Larn island is close to Pattaya Thailand , you will drive with the speed boat from pattaya about 30 minutes.

A simple day trip to Koh Larn island is worth every penny! Located near to Pattaya, Koh Larn is about a 20 minute ferry ride from the shore. This island is yes full of tourist but has some of the best beaches and bluest water i've seen. Its a must visit! :)
