Last Night in Town, A tribute to the Treasure Island Bar and Grill

Just a little bar and grill on an island. By day it could be taken for a peaceful little place with not much more than a great view. But after the support of the local customers, the place evolved into a destination that the locals more or less called their own. It was theirs and ours, and this video reflects those many memories that came from all of that love. Thank you everyone! RIP TIBAG

The idea for this video first started when I moved away for a little bit to Ohio and worked at my first bar other than the TIBAG. It was meant to show everyone where I had come from, at the same time paying respect to those I had left behind during that time. I never finished the video. Fast forward to now, the TIBAG recently closed it's doors for good and I wanted to pick up where I had left off, giving the video a whole new meaning for myself. It's where I learned how to bar tend. It reflects a time in my life that was great in many ways, yet very dark in some. I chose the song for the soundtrack because it's what I as listening to at the time and the lyrics speak to the memory of a loved one. This is closure to that part of my life.

If you've been looking for a new camera bag for the longest like I have then you're in luck. In this video I show my first impressions of the bag and put all my gear into it to see if it can really hold up. I've been looking for one that fit all my gear and then some, plus didn't lack in the style department. As much as a I hate to admit it, looks are very important to me when it comes to my gear. Then I found Vinta and their line of bags and instantly fell in love. Finally, after months of waiting and researching I gave in and bought one. This isn't sponsored. How did you learn all your knowledge in photography?
I went to art school and got a 4 year degree and interned under a photo director at Atlanta Magazine, plus tons of experience shooting my own personal projects and client work.

Why do shoot mostly fashion?
I love fashion photography and knew I could never be a model or a designer. I fell in love with the glossy photographs I saw in magazine and knew I wanted to do that.

Field Trip to The Getty Villa // Pacific Palisades, California

On this vlog, let’s take a relaxing field trip to the museum. The Getty Villa, located in Pacific Palisades, CA, recently opened again to the public after their closure due to the pandemic. Some areas were are closed off or were being renovated during this visit, but you can still see majority of what the museum has to offer.

Snow Speed 1950 16mm Film

Newsreel cameraman and editor Eugene Castle formed his company, Castle Films, in 1924 producing industrial and advertising films.
In 1937 the company started producing documentaries for home use on 16mm and 8mm film.
Their specialties were the 'News Parade' 'World Parade' and 'Sport Parade' series, eventually getting access, by merger, to features, shorts and cartoons. Features were truncated to a short running time.
These films were very popular but with later home entertainment technologies and ready access to TV programs, the company ceased production in 1977.

The narrator for Snow Speed is recognizable as having narrated many of Castle Films productions and many others, as can be heard in the 'People of the Congo 1939' short on this channel.
