Jambo everyone!
Welcome to this Kenya Airways B787-8 video!

I found a great fare in Business Class on Kenya Airways on my way to Africa and decided to give it a try.
The flight departs at my least favourite departure time so I had to cope with that, but I can assure you that it was well worth it!

The crew were stunning and treated me like royalty. They made the flight and I just wish this had been a daytime flight so I would have made more out of it.

Regardless of that, I have nothing but great words and am sincerely grateful for the wonderful care I received. This is what makes good service stand out.

My Kenya Airways Flight - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

I flew on Kenya Airways B787 Dreamliner from Nairobi to Dubai. In this video, I will share with you my experience of flying Kenya Airways.

I visited both The Simba and The Pride Lounge of Kenya Airways in Nairobi Airport. The Pride Lounge is much bigger and more comfortable in my opinion. The boarding process was not smooth, my flight was delayed due to the late and slow boarding process.

Once onboard, the Kenya Airways crew were friendly and attentive. The Business Class is arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration. The seat can go 180 degrees fully flat but with little privacy. After takeoff, a simple and underwhelming dinner is served.

At the end of the flight, I give my verdict on flying Kenya Airways.

STRIKING - Kenya Airways 787-8 Landing at London Heathrow - [5Y-KZA]

Today's upload is of the ever so striking Kenya Airways Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, 5Y-KZA or The Great Rift Valley as this aircraft is named has just completed it's flight from Nairobi in Kenya. Enjoy the peaceful silence of these twin General Electric 1B engines as they land onto Runway 09L at London Heathrow

Kenya Airways certainly are up there with the best liveries on the 787 however they still in my mind can't clinch top spot with Etihad and Royal Jordanian sitting at number 1 and 2 respectively.

KENYA AIRWAYS FLIGHT REVIEW | JOHANNESBURG TO NAIROBI | KQ765 | B737-800

Kenya Airways flight review, onboard KQ765 from Johannesburg to Nairobi (JNB-NBO) on the B737-800.

This KQ flight has a late departure of 1.55am, as such, most of the shops at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport has closed. We took off at 2.07am. Given the short flight time of 3 hours and 35 minutes and the late hour, only a hot snack was served to minimise service time and allow passengers to maximise their rest. The hot snack was a meat pie (choice of chicken or beef), accompanied by muffin and drinks. Lights are then dimmed after the service was completed. There were nice views of the sunrise during the landing. It was a very pleasant flight with nice Kenya Airways cabin crew.

KQ brands planes with wildlife images to support tourism

Kenya Airways (KQ) has entered into a partnership with the Kenya Tourism Board to brand planes with images of wildlife to promote Kenya as a tourist destination.

The campaign will also renew KQ’s commitments in the fight against illegal wildlife trade and support conservation efforts to protect endangered wildlife.

Two planes, a Dreamliner and an Embraer, now bear images of Kenya’s most iconic species: rhinos, elephants, and a lion.

This, said the airline, will create visibility for Kenya across the airline’s network and position the country as a “must visit” destination.

Tourism and Wildlife Chief Administrative Secretary Joseph Boinett said aviation is a critical pillar of Kenya’s tourism industry and such partnerships are important to draw the interest of travelers.

“It is especially important at this point in time as we work towards recovering tourism fully and attracting international visitors to Magical Kenya,” he said.

Allan Kilavuka, CEO, Kenya Airways said the airline was committed to raising awareness of Kenya’s magical treasures to maximize the benefits of air transport and to support the sustainable development of the tourism economy.
