Keemala Phuket Review: Tent Pool Villa
Keemala is an all pool villa wonderland set in the rainforest of Kamala, Phuket. They have 4 categories of villas, this time we stayed in one of them, which was built as a huge luxury tent, offering a very unique experience compared to other villa type hotels in the area.
While Keemala is not next to the sea like other popular resorts, it is close to the greenery and gives a bit of a jungle-like feeling. Built as a tent, it does not have that good soundproofing, but if you like the sounds of raindrops, you can easily hear them inside your villa. You can opt to take a refreshing plunge in a pool or deeper bath session in a stylish bath. It also has 2 showers, one indoors and one outdoors, surrounded by a bamboo wall.
For evening hours, unless you're watching stars above, you can watch the TV, which has also a selection of on-demand free movies or you can stream one of the many built-in internet radio stations.
Breakfast has a long a-la-carte menu and there is a mini buffet of pastries and fruits.
The website of the resort is but we booked it via Hyatt. They are also members of Small Luxury Hotels, Mr&Mrs Smith and Green Pearls.
