KAZAKHSTAN: Beautiful PANFILOV PARK ????️ in central ALMATY with stunning Cathedral

Panfilov Park, city of Almaty, Kazakhstan - Beautiful park in central Almaty in Kazakhstan, Panfilov Park and a stunning Cathedral, Zenkov Cathedral. Let's travel to Kazakhstan and let's visit the largest city, the city of Almaty and we will go to Panfilov Park.
Panfilov Park is a large and attractive rectangle of greenery is one of central Almaty's most popular strolling and hangout places for all ages. At the heart of Panfilov Park stands the candy-coloured Zenkov Cathedral.
The park is named for the Panfilov Heroes, 28 soldiers of an Almaty infantry unit who died fighting off Nazi tanks in a village outside Moscow in 1941. They are commemorated at the fearsome war memorial east of the cathedral.
Panfilovets’ Park (another name for Panfilov Park) is located in central-east Almaty in the area surrounding Zenkov Cathedral. The park is dedicated and named after the Panfilov Heros. The memorial in the park is in memory of the 28 soldiers of an Almaty infantry unit who died fighting the Nazis outside Moscow. Ivan Panfilov was the name of the General commanding the 316 division who, in spite of suffering heavy casualties, managed to significantly delay the enemy’s advance on the capital, buying time for the defenders of the city.
An eternal flame commemorating the fallen of 1917-20 (the Civil War) and 1941-45 (WWII), burns in front of the giant black monument of soldiers from all 15 Soviet republics.
The Park itself is a very popular local green area within the city of Almaty. A good place to sit, rest and contemplate the sights of the city.

20,000 Step Challenge Continues In Almaty, Kazakhstan | Days 25-26-27

I started my 20k steps a day for a month challenge at the beginning of January and this video highlights days 25, 26, and 27. It has been challenging because of the very cold weather here in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I have been walking 10k to 15k for the last seven months so I decided to go for 20, 000 to see how my body responds.

Even though the weather has turned cold and snowy again, I have continued to manage my 20,000 steps every day here in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In this video, I visit a restaurant downtown while accumulating my steps.
