Covid- & Quarantine-Process in South Korea | 15 Tips for stress free traveling [November 2021]

I used my 10-day quarantine here in Seoul, South Korea to review the entire COVID process from my home country airport to my quarantine AirBnb.Weeks of research and really valuable tips from friends let me move to South Korea relatively stress-free despite very many travel & immigration regulations.
So in the video I explain the whole COVID-19 travel and quarantine process and give you 15 important tips - what to bring and prepare.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
DOWNLOAD
You can download this Survival Guide and Quarantine Checklist as a PDF on my website here:

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The tips described in the video result from my experience when I moved to Korea in November 2021 on a D4 long-term visa to study the language at Sogang University as a Korean Language Trainee.

Of course, the processes and covid regulations can change all the time and it also depends a lot on your visa type and home country. Also, I can only cover a lot of topics very briefly in this video and there is much more you need to know about this.
Therefore very important: Please always research the current circumstances properly if you want to move to South Korea, too!

[ENG/KOR] Everything I Did Before Flying To Korea | Quarantine Exemption | COVID Drive Through Test

Hello~ Welcome to my first ever Vlog ^^; Thank you for stopping by♥
I tried my best to make it helpful and easy to understand for anyone who is navigating the process of traveling to Korea (long term or short term) during COVID-19~ I myself had a hard time going through this process and was pretty stressed, so I wanted to make it easier for others. Please feel free to leave any questions in the comments and I’d be happy to try to help~

**✿❀ Disclaimer ❀✿**
This is my first ever Vlog and I edited, transcribed, and translated all by myself. Uploading this video took a while because I wanted it to be high quality, but a couple awkward edits were inevitable because I cut some parts out. I’m open to suggestions and criticisms, but please keep in mind that I’m a newbie!~

[ENG/KOR] Flying to Korea During a Pandemic | Arrival at ICN | Quarantine Exemption | Covid Testing

This vlog was created with the intention of being the most detailed, helpful video on traveling to Korea during the pandemic. However, please keep in mind that the situation is always changing, so processes may have been adjusted/changed.

Thank you for watching this video! If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments, and I'll try my best to answer them :)

PS: I apologize for the delay in video uploads. Video editing is much more time consuming than I thought it would be, and juggling it with school and travel has been pretty difficult. Ironically, I'm in finals season and have more time on my hands, so I'm hoping to upload more fun videos ASAP.

What is it like to quarantine in Seoul? | Korean Travel Guide | Global Citizenship

South Korea for the time being is one of those nations who has controlled the COVID19 pandemic in it’s earliest stages however, the country requires all travellers to the area to undergo a mandatory 14 day quarantine before being allowed to venture into Seoul.

Watch Mikey as he travels from England to South Korea and spends his days in Quarantine and in complete isolation as he battles to keep his sanity, maintain a sense of well being and exercise his way through each day.

Spending 1-3 days alone can be tough so spending a complete 14 days of quarantine in South Korea for all travellers can be tougher.

How does one do it successfully? Watch out and see more from the eyes of Mikey Espinosa.

Singapore to South Korea Vaccinated Travel Lane Nov 2021 (Covid19 vlog)

In a break from regular programming, I like to share my recent experience travelling to South Korea under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangement.

It has been 2 years since we last travelled and my wife & I took the chance to head to South Korea since it is under VTL.

There are more hassles involved and that includes a PCR test on arrival at Changi Airport (which didn't get captured).

All in, the tests cost an extra SGD$600 and extra time waiting and queuing.

I hope you find this video useful and use it as a reference if you are considering similar travel arrangements.

*There is a part where I mentioned visiting Bukchon Hanok Village. I was corrected by a viewer that it is actually Gyeong Bok Gung. Sorry for the mistake!

Korea Travel Ban Lifted (But Should You Go?)
