In this video you can drive along on the Autobahn A44 E331 from Kreuz Wünnenberg-Haaren to Kassel. At Kreuz Wünnenberg-Haaren, the A44 intersects with the A33 coming from Osnabrück - Bielefeld - Paderborn.
The A44 originates in Aachen all the way West of the Ruhrgebiet. It passes some large cities on the way to Kassel and there are some notable missing links, like at Mönchengladbach and Ratingen for example. Also at Dortmund, the last big city on the A44 before Kassel, it dissolves into the A45 before it continues again on its own in the Eastern direction.
In this video we drive East towards Kassel with some challenging weather. A mix of rain and wet snow don't make for the most ideal driving conditions, but I hope you enjoy the drive along anyway. The Sauerland region East of the Ruhrgebiet is quite scenic and this is therefore definitely not a boring Autobahn to drive.

In this video you can drive along on the Autobahn A7 E45 from Kassel to Kirchheimer Dreieck. At the Kirchheimer Dreieck (JCT), the A7 meets the A4.
The A7 is Germany's longest Autobahn, starting at the Danish border in the North and ending at the Austrian border in the South. It crosses the heart of the country, with Kassel almost being in the middle of it.
The A7 is also known because of the many construction sites and the fact it's always busy, especially on weekends and holidays. This video was made on a Sunday in the off-season, for reference.

Cycling in Germany - Höxter-Kassel (3/8)
From Höxter we follow the Weserradweg until Bad Karlshafen. Then south along the Diemel river to Grebenstein and further south to Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe in Kassel.
