Bin eigentlich nur mal zufällig von der Autobahn abgefahren, um einen neuen Ort kennen zu lernen und war völlig begeistert als die Sonne gerade über den Berg gekommen ist und die Halbinsel in wunderschöne Farben getaucht hat.

Iseltwald ist das einzige Dorf am linken Ufer des Brienzersee und wird zurecht als die Perle am Brienzersee bezeichnet. Mit rund 420 Einwohnern gehört das schmucke Fischerdorf zu den kleinen Gemeinden des Kantons Bern. Auf über 23 km2 erstreckt sich aber eine Vielfalt die ihresgleichen sucht: von der idyllischen Fischerbucht bis zu höchsten Berggipfeln mit atemberaubender Aussicht finden sie alles. Die Lebensqualität ist hoch, auch dank der guten Infrastruktur.

Iseltwald is the only village on the left bank of Lake Brienz and is rightly referred as the pearl of Lake Brienz. With about 420 inhabitants, the pretty fishing village is one of the small communities of the Canton of Berne, 14 km from Interlaken, From the idyllic fishing bay up to the highest mountain peaks with breathtaking views you will find everything.

Lake Brienz is located in the middle of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. Surrounded by impressive mountains, forests and waterfalls, it is a local recreation area for many Swiss and tourists.
Iseltwald is located on the left bank of the Lake Brienz. With its 420 inhabitants, it is one of the small communities of the Canton of Bern.
The uniquely beautiful bay with all its traditional houses, the mountain world behind it and the small island Schnäggeinseli invites you to dream and has inspired many painters and writers to great works.

Lake Brienz is a lake just north of the Alps, in the Canton of Berne in Switzerland. It has a length of about 14 kilometres, a width of 2.8 kilometres and a maximum depth of 260 metres .
