First Impressions Of and How To Get To CAPPADOCIA | TURKEY
Cappadocia is one of the most popular places to visit in Turkiye and easily one of our favourites too. With rock castles and cave hotels everywhere, it's an incredible, unique, otherworldly landscape.
In this vlog we show you how to easily get to Cappadocia via bus and share our first impressions of the town Göreme in Cappadocia after walking all around it. We're not sponsored by any company, we just hope our vlogs can help with others' travel plans especially when visiting Turkey.

As mentioned in the video, it's cheaper to book at the otogar (bus station) directly in person but we used this partner site to Kamil Koç to book our first intercity tickets online for convenience and did the rest directly in person. They will require your passport and Turkish mobile number in person to send you your ticket as a PDF. Most counter staff around Turkey we found could speak enough English to communicate date and time of travel, destination plus seat number that you want. Remember to check the PDF details that all your information is correct before you leave.

Cappadocia is dream destination for many and most instagramable place as you might seen thousands of pictures on social media with Hot Air Balloon, Chimneys, Salt Lakes, Cave Hotels and Valleys but question remains the same Is Cappadocia worth the Hype?
So during this trip we have spent 2 days in Cappadocia and explore various places which we will show you in our 2 videos to analyze if its worth the visit.
On our 2nd Day to Turkey we left in afternoon by car from Abant Lake in Bolu, covered in previous video, towards Cappadocia via Highway covering some scenic cities and views and reached Cappadocia after 6 hours drive.
Hot Air Balloon Ride is first thing to do in Cappadocia but unfortunately all rides were booked for next morning so we decided to check the early morning views of the scenic sunrise with Hot Air Balloons in the sky and book for ride for the next day which will be covered in next video.
We Stayed in Tulip Cave Hotel which is in center of the city and traditional cave style hotel in Cappadocia, its worth staying in hotel, room and all facilities were up to the mark where as breakfast was average. We spent 65Euro/Night in this hotel for 3 persons.
We spent our morning to watch Hot Air Balloon Rides and watch from different places in the city, afternoon we spent in our hotel and watch city center and local food shops, in evening we headed towards Red Valley in Cappadocia.
Red Valley (Kizilcukur) is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and sunset in Cappadocia. The valley is located in the middle of Goreme National Park named after the red colored tuff rocks and fairy chimneys spread through the valley. The valley is also one most popular places to see in Cappadocia.
We had dinner in luxurious Carus Hotel Restaurant from top floor having the night views of this magical city and had yummylicious Turkish Food.

Cappadocia, Turkey is one of the most beautiful places ever! Taking a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the area is one of the MUST DO things here, and now I know why ???? It ended up being one of the most amazing experiences of my travels so far! ????????
I had booked the hot air balloon ride 2 months before arriving from SkyWay Balloon company. They picked up us from our hotel at 5:30 AM and we reached the place at 6:00 AM and began our exceptional journey to up in the sky.
Even you should get your hotel, in the best places so that you can enjoy in the morning when all the balloons flying all over Göreme.
Later in the day I went for a Red tour and enjoyed the Göreme open-air museum.

Turkey is one of the most amazing countries where East meets West and getting a visa to visit Turkey is also not a very complex process. If someone has a valid Schengen visa, residence card, they can get a Turkish tourist visa online in 10 minutes. Cost for the visa was around 25$
At Kayseri Airport, I had already arranged a pre-booked taxi from our hotel for just 35 TL per person, as soon as the taxi received all the guests, we started from the airport to Goreme city where we stayed at this beautiful property, Harman Cave Hotel. This was a perfect cave hotel in Cappadocia on the hills and we had an amazing view of the fairy chimneys and hot air balloons from the open terrace of the hotel. After check-in, we took some rest before we started our quick trip to the city center for lunch.
