Visiting the Jewel Changi was something i'd been really keen on doing in Singapore. So much so that even though i was sick as a dog when in Singapore, I wasn't going to let the opportunity to see the Jewel, i.e. the newest addition to the world's BEST AIRPORT (voted so by Skytrax for seven consecutive years) slip before i left the country.
I didn't do as much research on the Jewel as i should've... and in my mind, my silly assumption made sense.
Anyway...if anything i hope you don't make the same mistake i do when visiting Jewel Changi. Although i was disappointed, i managed to explore Terminal 1, Terminal 2 AND Terminal 3 of Singapore Airport - got to see a BUNCH of stuff (the airport has a butterfly garden, a sunflower garden and a whole range of other cool stuff) and i was also able to get (unlimited rides) on the airport sky train, so not all was lost.
Honestly, i'm still kinda embarrassed and baffled at myself lol. i'm not usually like this... i promise.
I hope you enjoyed my perspective of Singapore's Changi Airport.

I spent 24 hours living inside of the most luxurious airport in the world. I am amazed with how much stuff there is to do here. There is a mall, activities, hotels, restaurants. It is almost like a small city. This challenge was so fun and I cannot wait to do this at more airports :)

Singapore Changi Airport, commonly known as Changi Airport, is a major civilian international airport that serves Singapore, and is one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia. As one of the world's busiest airports by international passenger and cargo traffic, it has been rated as the 'World's Best Airport' by Skytrax several times, and is the first airport in the world to hold the accolade for eight consecutive years. It has also been rated as one of the world's cleanest airports and highly rated international transit airports. More than 100 airlines operate from the airport, with nonstop or direct flights to destinations in Asia, Australia/New Zealand & South-West Pacific, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
The airport is located within its namesake district of Changi, at the eastern end of Singapore, approximately 24 kilometres (15 miles) east from Singapore's Downtown Core at the Central Region on a 25-square-kilometre (9.7 sq mi) site. It is the home base of BOC Aviation and Jetstar Asia Airways, as well as the country's flag carrier of Singapore Airlines, its cargo division Singapore Airlines Cargo and its low-cost subsidiary Scoot.
With Singapore's strategic location being a favourable destination for high demand layovers, the airport also serves as a focus city for Qantas, as well as the flagship cargo hub for FedEx Express in Asia.
In 2019, Changi Airport served 68.3 million passengers, making it the 18th busiest airport in the world. The airport is operated by Changi Airport Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary under the purview of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Singapore. It is served by three runways; all 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) long, and consists of four terminal buildings. A fifth mega-terminal is currently under construction.

The World’s Best Airport is Now Home to the Tallest Indoor Waterfall
Just when you thought the best airport in the world couldn't get any better, Changi Airport now boasts the tallest indoor waterfall. Jewel is Changi Airport's newest hub. It was designed by Safdie Architects and cost about $1.3 billion. Apart from the world's highest indoor waterfall, it is also home to a five-story garden that hosts around 900 trees and 60,000 shrubs.
