In the streets of KABUL - One Week in AFGHANISTAN!

7 Days in the Most Dangerous Country in the World ????????

Afghanistan is not a country that is easily broken. No matter what death or destruction has happened in this country, life perseveres, and it's a testament to the spirit of the Afghan people. The narratives of good and evil don't always neatly fit over any country, let alone one as complex as Afghanistan.
But it’s the resilience and the warmth of the people that have left the deepest impression.
This journey has reminded me that Afghanistan is more than just headlines; it's a land of contradictions, rich history, and incredible people. It's a place where hope survives, and life goes on, no matter the odds. This country is safe to travel to if you follow the rules and have the correct guides.

Afghanistan has been plagued by decades of conflict, including the Soviet invasion in the 1980s, civil war in the 1990s, and the U.S.-led invasion in 2001. The presence of various armed groups, including the Taliban and other insurgent factions, has led to ongoing violence and instability. Join me as I visit what is considered as the most dangerous country in the world and explore the rich history, diverse culture, and breathtaking landscapes. I'll go beyond the headlines to showcase the true beauty and resilience of the Afghan people. Featuring @BlackmanDaTraveller and @Abzventure.

Nobody Shows You This Side of Kabul, Afghanistan! ????????

Walk through the busy streets of Kabul, Afghanistan with me.

I really didn’t know what to expect. The mainstream media and my Canadian government has painted Afghanistan as a deathtrap with zero chance of survival for tourists.

I’m not a huge fan of the evening news, and I don’t trust much of what they say. As a world traveller I’ve never in my life Googled “is a country safe…” because I know the answer will always be no in the eyes of an average tourist. Remember, I am not an average tourist.

Listen, I know Afghanistan has had a bad wrap for decades. Conflict after conflict, war after war. No question that a lot of bad stuff has occurred here. But it’s 2022 and i’m ready to give Afghanistan and the Taliban a chance. I will not be digging into the past, and I know my interaction with the Taliban will upset some viewers. I am only filming what I personally witness while being in Afghanistan. This is not my job, nor am I a journalist. Simply a man with a camera that loves to travel the globe.

Since it’s my first day in Kabul and I haven’t found a translator or fixer yet, I’ve decided to get lost on the streets and walk until I can’t feel my feet.

Today’s video is a 60 minute segment of my walk (Filmed: Sunday, October 16th, 2022). I hope you enjoy! Much more Afghanistan content coming very soon so subscribe if you are interested.

Lastly, add me on Instagram for the inside scoop:

Thanks!

Chris

I traveled to AFGHANISTAN under T4LIBAN RULE (3 week trip)

In this video Chloe Jade Travels to Afghanistan under the t4liban rule

This video was recorded over 2 and a half weeks in November 2022

This is the REALITY of an AMERICAN WOMAN traveling to AFGHANISTAN under T4LIBAN RULE

Afghanistan is incredibly overlooked when it comes to the beauty of the country, only though of for what it is portrayed in the media and in movies.

Similar to what I have spoken about with Syria, people have dehumanized refugees when they have no idea how much these Afghan refugees have given up

I hope to share the realities of my trip, so you can understand how incredible this country is, and why Afghans would never CHOOSE to leave their country, and why many feel they've been forced to, in order to give their families a fair chance.

The main video is 48 minutes long, with a 30 minute Q&A at the end.

Please let me know any additional questions in the comments and I will do my best to answer.

Thank you for all your support ????

DAY 1 IN KABUL AFGHANISTAN

Kabul Afghanistan, Day 1...@JayPalfrey and i met up in Islamabad to make a quick trip up to Peshawar where we got out visas for Afghanistan, ( very easily) then took a quick flight to Kabul. Ive had no internet so this is why its taken so long to upload! we arrived on the day of the Talibans anniversary of their takeover of power! ( more on that in the next vlog). First day we were both a little anxious, but now that we have been here a week, i no longer feel that way at all, women do walk around alone, even in Kabul. over the course of my stay ive seen a lot and learned a lot. And i actually don't feel unsafe here. I was a bit unsure of things in this video, but this was my first day...i have lots more content from here to come! Thanks as always for watching!

You CAN'T Pay At This Street Vendor - My Last Day In Afghanistan, Kunduz ????????

Although I approached this journey with considerable hesitancy and carried a weight of worries and risks upon arriving in Afghanistan, it quickly became evident that the country's people made my experience significantly smoother from day one.

Having traveled extensively throughout South Asian countries, I was no stranger to the renowned hospitality in the region. However, my arrival in Afghanistan was particularly remarkable given the nation's prolonged history of conflict and the near absence of tourism.

Much like my experiences in Iran, I found that I blended in seamlessly with the local population in Afghanistan, both in terms of appearance and attire, initially avoiding the foreigner treatment. This remained the case until I took up my camera and spoke English. Those who have watched my YouTube videos from Afghanistan are already familiar with the warmth and generosity of the people, who often insisted on covering the cost of meals and extended invitations to their homes for lunch or dinner.

No matter where you travel in the World, you understand that there are always beautiful souls adorned with the most heartwarming smiles and an innate sense of hospitality, even if they have endured the harshest circumstances for years. It dawns on you that a simple snack can bring a smile to any child's face. You recognize that all humans, regardless of their background, share common aspirations: food, family, security, happiness, and a connection to something greater, whether a divine presence or a higher purpose.

I extend my heartfelt love and appreciation to every individual I encountered during my time in Afghanistan, including the shop owners, drivers, my guide, and the countless ordinary people who crossed my path throughout my journey. ❤️

Please note: This is not intended as a travel advisory. Afghanistan currently has a government that remains unrecognized by any nation, resulting in the absence of embassies and international diplomatic relations. I am an experienced traveler who explored the country in the company of a reputable guide.

This is Kabul City Afghanistan 2020

Kabul is home to 4 million people and is one of the most polluted cities, in Afghanistan but recently air pollution levels have started to drop dramatically as it endures the third week of a 21-day lockdown amidst coronavirus fears, according to The Weather Channel.
While the complete shutdown of Kabul economy was designed to stop the spread of COVID-19, it is having an ancillary health benefit of clearing the air that millions of people were choking. As vehicles stay off the road.

I have recorded this video in different parts of Kabul City such as Froshgah, Poli Mohammad Khan, Qargha Road and Wazir Akbar Khan areas.
