Cite Martial market is in a new double storied building. There is a food court, a vegetable section, a huge clothing section, and a meat area. Open on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We explored the whole market and ate a great roti. As this is a market mostly for the local residents the prices are cheap, and there is no need to bargain.

The capital city of Mauritius is Port Louis. There are a number of attractions, including the Caudan Waterfront and the Port Louis market (Central market). In order to experience the street food of Mauritius you should head towards the Port Louis Market. There is a variety of fresh produce and the not to be missed dal puri. We ate dal puri and danced to sega music on the streets of the city.

Port Louis est la capitale de l'île Maurice, mais soyons honnêtes, ce n'est pas le site que les touristes garderons en souvenir inoubliable de l'île... à part le bord de mer aménagé, il n'y a pas un grand nombre de visites à y faire et dès que l'on sort du bord de mer, le délabrement saute aux yeux. Mais le fait d'y passer quelques heures ne sera pas un moment désagréable, alors c'est parti pour un petite promenade..
