Rih Dil: The name is derived from a Mizo folktale of Rih-i. Rih-i had a younger sister who was murdered by her father upon the order of their stepmother. Rih-i's sister was resurrected with the help of a spirit. With the same magical spell Rih-i turned herself into a water body that became the lake.
Rih Dil occupied an important status in the traditional religion of the Mizo people. According to the ancestors of the tribals, it was a corridor to their heaven called Pialral. All souls destined to Pialral must pass through the lake.

PANGSAU PASS - INDIA & MYANMAR BORDER
The Pangsau Pass stands at border crossing between India and Myanmar. To cross the border one has to travel to Nampong, Arunachal Pradesh, nearest village to Pangsau Pass. Nampong is connected by Stilwell Road through Margherita - Ledo - Jairampur town.

Went to the last Village of Northeast India, Indo Myanmar border, approximately 60kms from Churachandpur Town. Terrible road but we enjoyed the ride.

Myanmar to India border crossing at Tamu, Myanmar, to Moreh , India.
The long, difficult journey across western Myanmar ends in the town of Tamu. To get that far you must have special permission from the Myanmar government, which was very difficult to get, and officials will check you closely all along the way. The dynamic trio make it across Myanmar, meet with their government appointed handler, and manage to cross the recently opened border of India, and cross into the town of Moreh. All this is impossible now due to the military retaking control of the country.

Moreh is last indian town in district Tengnoupal of Manipur, and other side there is a town called Tamu, Myanmar
A Indian can go upto Tamu without Visa for a day, You just need any indian Id like Aadhar card, Voter id, Pan card, DL
I visited almost everything and after that i started my journey from Moreh to Imphal by road, Imphal Moreh road is very beautiful and covered with mountains

This is the second part of getting across the border to India from Myanmar. In the first video we discussed our experience getting the India Visa and in this video we cross the border from Tamu to Moreh. We crossed on January 5th 2016 and at that time there were issues with foreigners entering the Manipur state of India. From what we've heard those issues are already resolved but it is always best to check with both countries before beginning this process.

Namlee is located in Manipur, India near the Myanmar border. It's around 110 km and 6 hours from Imphal, the capital of Manipur. The place is not developed yet but the local people told us that it will become an International Market like Moreh.
The roads condition were pathetic but we enjoyed it and it was so adventurous, we were tired but enjoying the scenic beauty of the place.

Rih-Dil Lake On India-Myanmar Border In Mizoram: Ride From Champhai to Rih-Dil Lake
It was the 15th Day of my Solo Ride to North East India, and I was traveling in the state of Mizoram. The previous day I rode from Seling in Mizoram to Champhai, and today I planned to cross the India-Myanmar Border and Visit the famous Rih-DIl Lake. From Champhai I rode to Zokhawthar which is 25km from Chamohai and reached the India-Myanmar border. Rih-Dil Lake is a heart-shaped lake situated 4km from the border of India in Myanmar. Indian citizens are allowed to visit the lake, and they have to get a gate pass issued by Assam Rifles and Mizoram Government. The same gate pass needs to be submitted to Myanmar counterpart authorities. The lake is around 4km from the border, and you can hire a local vehicle to visit the lake. I was riding my own Honda Activa, thereby giving me an edge to save time.
